I love this album more than any i've bought in decades! His vocal style and the songs he writes are A+. (btw, i'm 78 and have been buying albums for over 60 years)

I bought both his self titled CD and loved it so I bought this on itunes. As luck would have it, the CD player in my car quit working so I haven't had much chance to listen to this one. I thought it was great when I downloaded it. He is definitely one of the many underrated artists.

  1. Overall you're left with the aural equivalent of an unexpectedly comfy bed in a cheap hotel--relaxing, welcoming, unexpectedly pleasant, but eminently forgettable.
  2. Hard-working hat-wearing ‘Had A Bad Day’ songwriter Daniel Powter’s third album is a bit of a mess when all’s said and done.

    A square-jawed, piano-based, falsetto-flecked collection of sediment sentiment. [Oct 2008, p.109]
