Quite an enjoyable album that resides more in the pop camp than the indie rock one. Despite 12 tracks in 36 minutes, the album somehow manages to feel longer than it needed to be. There are a few really catchy tunes with the singles the previewed the record all sounding great. It has to be said that there is also a bit of filler amongst the album tracks. The debut shows plenty of promise but equally has many faults and has lots of room for improvement. The style could get boring quickly if not developed but if there is genuine substance behind Wet Leg then we could be listening back to this album as the start of a golden vein of records. Expand

Deberías estar en horizontal teniendo sueños húmedos de piernas mojadas, recostado todo el día en un diván y oyendo el debut de la banda con más zumbido mediático para la Gen Z en años. Expand

I absolutely love this album. These guys are so awesome and a blast to watch and listen to. It's messy and juvenile! Exactly what I needed to hear!

Fantastic album!!!! Pop music at its best, simple songs with lyrics poignant on living in today's world and infectious melodies. There isn't a bad song on the album.
Top songs are, Too late now, Ur mom and Piece of **** And of course the 3!!! hits already out, Chaise lounge, Wet Dream and Angelica.
The future looks bright for this band...

Wet Leg proff that the indie-rock still has something to say in the music industry.

Best debut album since Garbage's Eponymous debut in the 90's. Great songwriting! Great Beats. Fantastic, Any album that has a reference to the movie Bufallo 66 gets extra points in my book.

It tends to sag a bit during its attempts at more low-key intimacy, and a fair few tracks end up sounding far stronger lyrically than they do musically and vice-versa, but overall "Wet Leg" is a thoroughly solid and enjoyable debut effort for the titular indie-rock duo, with peppy drum and bass rhythms and buzzsaw guitars lending a further fierce yet spunky edge to the humorously biting,It tends to sag a bit during its attempts at more low-key intimacy, and a fair few tracks end up sounding far stronger lyrically than they do musically and vice-versa, but overall "Wet Leg" is a thoroughly solid and enjoyable debut effort for the titular indie-rock duo, with peppy drum and bass rhythms and buzzsaw guitars lending a further fierce yet spunky edge to the humorously biting, sardonic lyrical explorations of love, sex, female agency, parental expectations, and toxic masculinity.

Wet Leg is so refreshing. They mix in humor and originality, but are infectious. Chaise Longue, of course, leads the way, but the debut album is loaded with great stuff... Wet Dream, Oh No, Ur Mom, Angelica, and probably my favorite -- Too Late Now, which is one of the best closing songs on an album in a really long time. The whole thing adds up to a fun romp full of '20s indie gold.

Wet Leg has been HIGHLY anticipated release for me since hearing the singles early last year...

I find with this project, when the band is on, its VERY GOOD. Almost Strokes like rhythms and melodies, and fun inventive lyrics and singing... On the other end of this spectrum, I find the down moments of the album to drag on a little bit... Anyway, I cant wait to keep listening to this

After the viral 'Chaise Lange' dropped into the universe, indie pop and rock fans waited with bated breath to see if Wet Leg was destined to be more than a one-hit-wonder. Even if it's not too outlandish at times (although it does have its moments), it's funny, sweet, and enjoyable. It's not perfect by any means, there are moments where you wish it could be tweaked or edited, but it's delightful in what it is.

Simply put it's a must-listen if you're looking for something upcoming and new. Let's just hope that Wet Leg's second LP lives up to this one!

Really interesting styling in this album. Some moments I’d say fall a bit flat but the tracks that are more engaging are so fun

The record is easily accessible on a surface level, and as a series of irresistible moments, it’s almost unparalleled.

Funny, weird, irreverent, a bit messy in places, Wet Leg’s debut feels like a rollicking night out at your local indie disco compacted into thirty-six brisk and breezy minutes. Across a dozen by turns funny and fraught tracks, the highs and lows of twenty-something life are captured with zinging joie de vivre.

The album could have been a niche critical favourite that marked them out as just curious oddities. Instead every preconception has been firmly smashed. Firmly on track to become the biggest band in the country, Wet Leg are here to shake the post pandemic culture out of its slumber.
