I love Miley as a person and as an artist i like her, but this new album has no vibe, is not deep on her lyrics, is way too bored and a little repetitive. Her vocals sound tired, with no motivation it all. SHE CAN DO BETTER!

Younger Now was all over the place, had country and pop vibes that just could not mix as well as Taylor Swift's Red. Some of the songs were just ugly fusions of country and pop and it just did not work well for me. Younger Now, Week Without You and Malibu were the only good songs on the album. The rest of them seemed lazy and outright average. Younger Now goes in all different directions and at the end of the day she could not pull off doing a country/pop album. Expand

'Younger Now' sees Miley Cyrus completely switching gears, leaving behind the 'edgy **** persona she adapted for 'Bangerz'. The record is musically diverse, jumping from country to pop, to rock, back to country, and it is lyrically her most personal effort (7 out of 11 tracks were solely written by Ms Cyrus herself). The record is musically diverse, jumping from country to pop, to rock, back to country, and it is lyrically her most personal effort (7 out of 11 tracks were solely written by Ms Cyrus herself). Right in the middle of the LP, there is the strong duo 'Miss You So Much' and 'I Would Die For You', which are brilliantly-made soulful confessional songs. Other songs like 'Week Without You' and 'Thinkin' showcase the fun Cyrus has while recording. However, there are a few songs like 'Rainbowland' (a collab with her Godmother, country icon, Dolly Parton) and 'Love Someone' that feel a bit boring in the midst of an album that contains hard-hitting songs such as 'Bad Mood' and 'Inspired'.

While making this album, Miley said she 'didn't concern herself with sales or radio-play', and frankly it's very obvious she just wanted to make songs leaning back on her roots, and have fun while she's at it. Whatever she's singing about, the most beautiful thing about this pack of songs, is that they're all coming straight from her heart.

Poor and simple album. As they are being overweight. And this is wrong. They are treating like a very bad album and of no quality, from what I have been reading. It's a lie.

The album until the attempt to be sent, obviously. A country of footprint, the problem runs, there is a country artist with a baggage required to do this. There are many weak songs like "Rainbowland" and yes,

There are many weak songs like "Rainbowland" and yes, "Malibu" is far from being listened to. It's very weak. "Without You", "Miss You So Much" and "I'd Die For You" are simple, ordinary, without any brilliance. I highlight, "Younger Now" and "Inspired" that show how virtues of Miley Cyrus.

This album is not the best of it, but it does not stop being good. Maybe some holes and the predawn of repetitive melodies have the problem, but in parts your voice sounds great in country.

Mam mieszane uczucia..

6 songs in here are worthy, yet it does not have that X element that makes me want to hear it again. Inspired, Younger Now and She's Not Him are the highlights of the album. Some songs in here feel weak, in lyricism and instrumental. Miley still cant make by her own a project that really works.

non amo il country ma nonostante tutto Miley ha fatto un bel lavoro ma non riesco a farmelo piacere. proprio questo pop con influenze country non mi fa impazzire. scusate ma direi che no.

To say that I liked the maximum of 7 songs on this album could be a lot, I just think she did not do well this album, I love her and she goes on, waiting for the next one

I love Miley, but this album is reductive. Joanne is a better album, but at least is better than Witness. I like that she is doing what she likes, but the all the songs sound the same. Buy Fetish and Bad Liar on iTunes.

This new album Miley has left a lot to talk about, Miley has left us disappointed as this new album has many songs of filling, titles, lyrics and very basic rhythms something we did not expect from Miley, this shows that getting together with Katy does not leaves nothing good.

This album feels very fabricated. She's come off her wild ways on Bangerz and is now trying to display some form of peaceful transition and it just feels fake. Some of the songs on the record such as Younger Now are ok, the others are just stereotypical of country music, I'm highly disappointed. Bangerz deserved a better follow-up

This album is empty for me. She can sing but I don't connect with what she's singing.
Malibu was a good start but I'm disappointed.
Maybe her next project will be better but I don't like this one

Good album but it has no replay value. The tracks are too similar each other and it's too homogenic. Many songs don't give value to Miley's voice and a lot of them are forgettable tracks. The good ones are the title track, Week Without You and Thinkin'.

Younger Now is the best way for Miley to gain her "good girl" image back. This album was vital to be less controversial with a change in the sound for Miley. Allthough it does accomplish this mission, it fails to accomplish being a good album. There are only few tracks worth listening to from this mess of an album. This album was vital to be less controversial with a change in the sound for Miley. Allthough it does accomplish this mission, it fails to accomplish being a good album. There are only few tracks worth listening to from this mess of an album. She tries to make country music, which is fine, but she just isn't meant for it, making it totally clear that she tries hard and fails. Half of the songs are forgettable, with mediocre production and boring lyrics. There are some moments when Miley does deliver a good song, but these aren't enough to save the album from the rest of its songs. Expected more from Miley, a real talented artist.

While possibly making lots of musical decisions based on public image, Cyrus’s singular strength of crafting personal melodies couldn’t overcome empty and lackluster collection of short songs this album came to be, thanks to the shallow acoustic sound and the rather lazy, repetitive progressions. My Score: 102/180 (Okay) = 5.7/10

Oh Miley what did u do... I really was waiting for this album. And tbh i really wanted to love it but miracle didnt happen. I think, she could do really better job. Sorry, but I like only 2 tracks, Younger Now and Malibu. I've listened to this album for 5 times, but... Result is the same. Unfortunately.

There are some great moments on this. Malibu, Younger Now, Inspired, Bad Mood. All are great and still have Miley's identity but the moments that feel generic or derived make the album feel less personal than it's intended to be.

A recipe well known being well-done by Cher and Stevie Nicks, while being reignited by Lady Gaga and Kesha, it is now being recycled by MIley Cyrus. Looking up to her godmother, with whom she cooperates, MIley's new country pop record does the job, but nothing further.

Highlights: Younger Now, Malibu, Rainbowland, Week Without You, Thinkin'.

I actually don't know what to think about that. I mean, it is catchy, some songs are pretty good, but this album is not good as Bangerz. The thing is that Miley has changed, she is mature than she was then, but after Malibu was released, I was expecting slow-pop album and not so acoustic.

Its not an bad album, but I think Miley could improve her music in her next album, the sonority of the songs its very similar to each other and her voice seems to be "tired". She is absolutely an great artist and she can do much better

With Malibu being the first single I expected so much from Miley. I saw that this style is not her place of safety, and I understand that she bet hard but it did not work out for both sides. I expect a change from her!

I don't understand this sudden escape into country music. Maybe the predecessor was not perfect, but definitely better than this one.

Where her past albums felt messy but painfully sincere, Younger Now comes off as safe and overly sanitized, with the frisson that made Cyrus a star all but entirely blasted away. ... Still, the album has some plainly good songs.
