In my top tier for them. I wasn’t crazy about Untitled, which has some great singles but lots of filler in my view. Many more heavy hitters in this once, and it builds well.

This is for me almost perfect album. For those who do not know Rammstein invented the new what are the most important genres in Germany which is the Neue Deutsche Härte which is considered one of the greatest genres in the German state. The riffs are great they feel heavy which is great for me, the low vocals are soothing as usual it is not surprising that a singer does a great job over and over again. The cover is excellent and Guess found the cover if you guessed it right this is Brian Adam who is considered one of the most famous artists in Canada or worldwide. The album has the best thing and you can laugh about it but there is a vocoded that is done well. The writing as usual is not understood because it is in German but I guess there are some songs with funny writing. To sum up this album is not as good as the new Ghost or Amorphis album, but this album is definitely an experience to try my final score is 88.9 / 100 it is really a good album go try it. Expand

I was not a fan of self-titled what so ever, and was actually quite afraid of the future of Rammstein after hearing that. If you wanted a fresh air of new Rammstein, but with the old and classic hard and brutish style, this album will do you more than fine. Rammstein has NO RIGHT releasing an album THIS OUTSTANDING - I simply will not accept it, even though I will continue to listen to it forever. Expand

Very good album, in my opinion even better and more complex/interesting/experimental than "Untitled" (2019). Favorite tracks- "Lügen", "Adieu", "Armee der Tristen", "Schwarz" and "Zick Zack". Hopefully they play most of them live on 2022 Tour.

Well produced, solid album, that sounds modern, while taking inspiration from their previous works like "Mutter" (2001) and "Rosenrot" (2005). There's few songs i don't care for, but overall it's solid 8.5/10 from me.

While it may not have the singles that totally blow you away as on the last record, this album to me feels a little more consistent than their last effort.

Thankfully, I was lucky enough to listen to this in Dolby prior to it being released the following day. And I have to say, it’s up there as one of my favourite albums to date. Armee der Tristen is classic Rammstein and a perfect album opener. A couple of songs had me laughing (in a good way, looking at you OK and Dicke Titten), but others (Angst and Giftig in particular) had me in awe. Thank you, Rammstein. Thank you.

This is a definite upgrade from their last album, "Untitled" from about 3 years ago. You can definitely tell that they fully tapped in to their creativity during this time they've had during the pandemic. Bits and Pieces. Here and there. All over.
Nah, yah... It is still Rammstein. But...
I had continuously in the back of my head the question "Where from I know this part?" Is that 'Haifisch', no perhaps 'Wiener Blut', no-no, this must be 'Du Riechst So Gut', or is it 'Mein Teil'? It was like a quiz. I am sure the "ALTE" Rammstein would have sued the "POST" Rammstein for plagiarism in each and every song, if there was such a thing.
Strange feelings ... It was like the Two lead Guitars Boys were taking part remotely over Zoom while doing something else more interesting. Till was like lost in, and humming, old memories in the train to Moscow. Flake was reliving his Depeche Mode teen's aspirations. The Base and Drums were like "Oh, finally, it's my time. Rammstein, who?" And the Producer(s) ... they were like thinking for their upcoming, finally, post covid19 holiday in Ibiza...
I did not like a single full song! Can't believe this...
Perhaps if someone takes its time and produces a single song, like they used to do in the 80s, combining the bits and the pieces? I might have liked this song? Not sure we have enough even for this, though.
If this was the first Rammstein album I've heard, I doubt I would had looked for anything from this band in the future: Nice ... sort of ... but .... there are so many others worth it to explore and so little time ...
    Sad...
And I hope they do not put much of this in the coming Europe Stadium Tour 2022 concert I am going to. I hope, I can say a proper Adieu, Good Bye Rammstein, Yah, DEN LETZTEN WEG MUSS [ICH] ALLEINE GEHEN ...

The new album from Rammstein is 10/10, why?
The songs are different from another albums but is still Rammstein for me.
No song like Deutschland, that is the best song from their last album. but zick zack is taking the nr 1 in this album.
After 5'ft time to listen to Zeit album is building for me more and more.
The songs are more modern if i can say that.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I am leaving this review after at least 10 listens so I have given Zeit the time it takes to digest.... yet I still don't like it that much. In a nutshell, Zeit is like premature ejaculation: not very unpleasant but something's missing there.
Zeit is a decent Rammstein-effort in every way with, for me, only very few remarkable moments but, on the other hand, several moments of "i have heard this before" .. on other Rammstein albums, that is. Musically and maybe even lyrically speaking Rammstein may have nothing new to show and say, still, I so hope this isn't going to be their farewell album because that would be a shame. Speaking of farewell, Adieu, the closing song on Zeit, sounds like a farce to me, not a good one though. Had their finished the album off with Lügen (my favorite on Zeit), I'd have given this album a 7 or maybe even an 8, but alas I had to say adieu to these higher scores. The lyrics of Adieu are so commonplace that, I'd love to think, the guys intented the whole song, again, as a wink, a joke, something to cause the fandom to contemplate about Rammstein's The End, only to return with more albums in a few or several years. Here's hoping....
On a sidenote: I used to be a drummer and Doom has always been an idol for me, yet on Zeit it feels like he decided to keep it simple and thus the drum parts are .. ehm.. not very innovative, at least not in my ears. He still rocks and thunders though, only I find the drums on Zeit a little too predictable and boring.

Album is as great as music videos for it's singles.
A great mix of grown up stuff in lyrics with just a little salty pinch of Ramm's humor.

Yes, it really does nod towards Sound of Music and backs this cleverly with an illuminating barrage of steely industrial noise. Of course, the album will only truly explode into life when it surges into the live arena. A lavish and unique operatic gothic party that promises, as ever, to be a scream.

Perhaps more than any other Rammstein album, it feels like a collection of songs deliberately built to soundtrack a future series of spectacular live set-pieces. [Jul 2022, p.81]

Just as grand as one would expect from the German rockers, ‘Zeit’ is a disorienting, glorious dose of Neue Deutsche Härte. Thick with charisma and a sharp sense of theatricality, this is another certified classic.
