Creepy dolls, cheerleaders, a serial killer, Alicia Silverstone, Madison Iseman, Bella Thorne, Quvenzhané Wallis, and a whole slew of Ryan Murphy alumni feature into the American Horror Stories Season 2 trailer. Watch it below.

American Horror Stories Season 2 will stream July 21 on Hulu.

The spin-off of Murphy and Brad Falchuk's American Horror Story is an episodic anthology series, which means it features a different horror story each episode/week. The repertory players of sorts who have worked with the franchise before who return in Season 2 (and are featured in the trailer) include Denis O'Hare, Gabourey Sidibe, Cody Fern, Max Greenfield, and Nico Greetham. The producers' other common collaborators Dominique Jackson and Judith Light will also appear in episodes, although we still do not have a breakdown of each individual story or who will be working with whom.

What we do know, based on the trailer, though, is that old fears will be stoked and new fears may arise.

American Horror Stories comes from executive producers Murphy, Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, John J. Gray, and Manny Coto. it is produced by 20th Television.

The first season of American Horror Stories, which included episodes about a hype house, a fertility totem, a video game based on the FX franchise (to name a few), has a Metascore of 54. That should not be confused with American Horror Story, which is an anthology at the season level (although characters have crossed over between seasons) and has a Metascore of 65 across its various seasons.
