After six seasons, Animal Kingdom will come to an end on TNT beginning June 19 at 9 p.m. Get a first look at the sixth and final season in a teaser, below.

The family crime drama will see the Cody boys discover that they can't outrun their past in its final run. The final season starts with two back-to-back episodes on June 19.

"Our mother built an empire. We've fought and we've killed to defend it," the trailer reminds the audience.

Now they want a fresh start and plan one final job before getting that, but of course that is easier said than done.

As their empire expands, a cold case gets reopened that sets off new events that put the entire family in jeopardy. If you've been watching the show since the beginning, you know that case is the murder of Catherine (Daniella Alonso), which could spell danger for Pope (Shawn Hatosy). As the teaser previews, it looks to be an explosive season of revenge, betrayal, and a violent reckoning.

"We've buried enough family. This needs to be done," J (Finn Cole) says in the teaser.

Animal Kingdom also stars Ben Robson, Jake Weary, and Leila George. Developed by Jonathan Lisco and David Michôd, it is executive produced by John Wells, Daniele Nathanson, Erin Jontow, Nick Copus, and Bradley Paul, and produced by Liz Watts. The show is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

The first five seasons of Animal Kingdom have earned a 65 Metascore from critics.
