'Élite' returns to Netflix with Season 5 on April 8.
'Élite"
NetflixThe fifth season of Élite, which streams April 8 on Netflix, is set to be about breaking free of judgement and rules. Get a first look in the new trailer, below.
From creators Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona, the Spanish-language drama is set at a fictional prep school, Las Encinas, and the fifth season sees a new semester start, which comes with new students, new love triangles, and of course, a new crime.
If you know where things left off, the secret of Armando's (Andrés Velencoso) death still looms, threatening to destroy Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) and Ari's (Carla Díaz)'s relationship. Meanwhile, Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau) escaped after Phillipe's (Pol Granch) New Year's Eve party, and Samuel and Rebeka (Claudia Salas) made a pact to stay quiet about things.
Now, Phillipe's abusive ways (and admission of them), as well as Patrick's (Manu Ríos) own violence, Benjamin's (Diego Martín) plan for revenge, and a gift from Armando all threaten the group. Additionally, Samuel and Rebeka's pact is not long for the world, bringing about new consequences while she is also on a self-discovery journey.
But that's not all! Omar (Omar Ayuso) is recovering from separating from Ander (Arón Piper), and new faces on the scene, including Bilal (Adam Nourou), Isadora (Valentina Zenere), and Iván (Juacas' André Lamoglia), will bring new drama too. And there will be more pushes and pulls between family loyalty and other relationships, as well as many questions about who can be trusted.
"Here's to disobedience," as the trailer teases, indeed!
Take a look at all of that explosiveness in the trailers below. The first one is all in Spanish, but the second one has English subtitles.
