Kid Cudi and Kenya Barris' 'Entergalactic' Teaser Released and Voice Cast Confirmed by Netflix

Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi and Kenya Barris' upcoming animated series Entergalactic had a big moment at Netflix's annual Geeked Week virtual event on June 8, dropping a teaser and confirming its voice cast.

Mescudi was previously announced to executive produce and star in the series as Jabari, a creative visionary artist at a crossroads of career success (and the perfect home space) while trying to also find true love. Joining him are Jessica Williams, Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla $ign, Laura Harrier, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Keith David, Teyana Taylor, Arturo Castro, and Macaulay Culkin.

Williams plays Meadow, an up-and-coming photographer who is Jabari's new neighbor and love interest. She is described as "not only the coolest girl at the party, she's the realest.:

Chalamet plays Jimmy, Jabari's best friend and weed dealer, although he's now starting to branch out into other entrepreneurial pursuits, such as cryptocurrency and new inventions. He is oxymoronic and laid back, though also a conspiracy theorist, and never found without a blunt and a book.

Ty Dolla $ign is Ky, Jabari's road dog who is described as "irreverent and, at times, inappropriate." But he's always there for Jabari, even if his support comes in unconventional ways.

Harrier is Carmen, Jabari's ex-girlfriend. She is stylish and confident and seen as the girl you're "supposed" to marry. She is also only a recent ex.

Hudgens is Karina, Meadow's best friend who is trustworthy, grounded, and pregnant.

Abbott plays Reed, an art dealer who represents Meadow's photography. He is considered a "shark with a heart" and described as having "the kind of chin that is sharp enough to cut glass but not strong enough to take a punch."

070 Shake is Nadia, Meadow's associate in the art world. She is a native New Yorker and therefore an in-your-face personality. she's also a sculptor whose work is even more brash than she is.

Smith plays Jordan, a young BMX superstar whose talent is what gets him in with Jabari and Jimmy, despite his age. He also has a different outlook on the dating scene in the city than Jabari (though, in what way has not yet been revealed).

David plays Mr. Rager, Jabari's superhero creation.

Taylor plays Boxing Coach, Meadow and Karina's (you guessed it) boxing instructor.

Castro plays Len, who works alongside Jabari in the comic world, He is super smart and super annoying, and also upwardly mobile as a professional.

And Culkin is Downtown Pat, a legendary, life-long, city-wide delinquent. But like many New Yorkers, his hardened and gritty exterior is juxtaposed by a big heart and words of wisdom to share.
