'Evil' Season 3

Paramount+

David (Mike Colter) may have become a priest, but he is experiencing demonic intervention more than ever in the third season of Evil, coming to Paramount+ on June 12. And he's not the only one.

In a trailer for the upcoming season, which you can watch below, David is plagued by lustful thoughts about Kristen (Katja Herbers), but it is not Kristen who is actually there with him, as you can see from her forked tongue. Meanwhile, Kristen's husband Andy (Patrick Brammall) returns home to witness her mother Cheryl's (Christina Lahti) devotion to dark forces, and even Ben (Aasif Mandvi) begins to experience odd phenomena as he struggles with the fact that they have so many unsolved cases.

Season 3 begins months after the events of the second season (which saw David ordained and kissing Kristen), which means the team will have to navigate a newly-fraught dynamic, as well as deal with "the entity" (the espionage unit within the Catholic church), all while still taking on head-scratching cases to determine if dark forces are at work from the supernatural side or just the darker side of humanity. Michael Emerson, Kurt Fuller, Andrea Martin, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, and Dalya Knapp also star.

Creators and showrunners Robert King and Michelle King executive produce alongside Liz Glotzer, Rockne S. O'Bannon, and Nelson McCormick. The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with King Size Productions and distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Thus far, Evil has a 76 Metascore. The third season has not yet been reviewed. After its premiere on June 12, new episodes will stream weekly on Sundays up to and including the finale of the 10-episode season on Aug. 14.
