Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and her writer Ava (Hannah Einbinder) are embarking upon a cross-country tour in the second season of HBO Max's Hacks, and you can join them starting May 12.
The first two episodes of Season 2 of Hacks will launch on May 12, following by two episodes every Thursday up to and including the season finale on June 2.
This time, Deborah and Ava's relationship twists and turns as they travel to workshop Deborah's new stand-up act, and as you can see from a teaser below, that adventure includes a visit to a home shopping network, a boat ride, trashing a crystal store, and much more.

The Emmy Award-winning comedy series also stars Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Jane Adams, Christopher McDonald, Kaitlin Olson, Paul W. Downs, Poppy Liu, Rose Abdoo, Mark Indelicato, Meg Stalter, Angela E. Gibbs, Luenell, Johnny Sibilly, Joe Mande, Ally Maki, and Lorenza Izzo. New cast additions for the second season include recurring guest stars Laurie Metcalf, Martha Kelly, Ming-Na Wen and Susie Essman, and guest stars Margaret Cho and Devon Sawa.
Hacks comes from creators and showrunners Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky, who executive produce alongside Michael Schur, David Miner, and Morgan Sackett. The show is produced by Universal Television.
Season 1 of Hacks earned an 82 Metascore from critics and was certified as a "Metacritic Must-Watch." The Season 2 review embargo has not yet lifted.
