NetflixIf life on Earth is too complicated, never fear, the hormone monsters and shame wizards of Big Mouth are only the beginning of those special beings designed to help humans navigate all of their complex emotions. The adult animated Netflix comedy is debuting a spin-off, titled Human Resources, on March 18, and in a newly-released trailer, which you can watch below, you will get a sneak peek at the additional beings — and their clients — here to lend aid.
They're not all the best at their jobs, but they're trying.
And there are many new creatures to meet, including Helen Mirren voicing Shame Wizard Rita St. Swithens; Hugh Jackman voicing Dante, the Addiction Angel; Lupita Nyong'o as Asha the Shame Wizard; Chris O'Dowd as Flanny the Lovebug; and Harvey Guillén as Jose the Spider Receptionist.
Their clients this time around are adult-aged, proving problems don't end with puberty. Ali Wong joins the voice cast as adult human Becca, Janelle Monáe is Claudia, Mike Birbiglia is Barry, and Tim Robinson is Doug.
Human Resources will explore the daily lives of these creatures and their humans as they work together through every important aspect of life, including new parenthood and the twilight years.
Big Mouth stars Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph, and David Thewlis reprise their roles on Human Resources and are also joined by Aidy Bryant, Brandon Kyle Goodman, Keke Palmer, and Randall Park.
Human Resources is co-created and executive produced by Kelly Galuska, Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin.
