Moonhaven, which was previously set to premiere on June 30, has been moved to July 7 on AMC+.

The show comes from creator and showrunner Peter Ocko and is set in a supposedly utopian colony on the moon that everyone within the world of the show thinks holds the answers to saving live on Earth, as well.

"Moonhaven isn't a people, it's a purpose," the teaser previews.

But when Bella Sway (Emma McDonald), a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler, is accused of a crime and sent to that community, she quickly gets sucked into a conspiracy regarding the artificial intelligence responsible for the so-called miracles happening on Moonhaven.

Bella is a skeptic, and she can't get to the bottom of things on her own, so she teams up with a local detective. They have to try to gain control of that AI in order to help the life left on Earth (and preserve it for the future), while others are trying to destroy that last piece of hope for humanity. Because while Moonhaven is supposed to be a future, "darkness finds a way," Bella notes.

The teaser offers glimpses of fire, individuals in hazmat suits, ominous smoke and garbage piles, and cult-like activity.

The show also stars Dominic Monaghan, Amara Karan, Ayelet Zurer, Joe Manganiello, Kadeem Hardison, and Yazzmin Newell. Ocko executive produces alongside Deb Spera. The show is an AMC Studios production and will be available exclusively on AMC+, with the first two episodes dropping on July 7, and then following with a weekly roll-out release on Thursdays.
