One fight may be over when Star Wars spin-off Obi-Wan Kenobi debuts May 25 on Disney+, but there is much more struggle ahead. Get a preview in a new trailer, which you can watch below.

Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place a decade after the events of George Lucas' 2005 Star Wars film Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, seeing the titular hero (Ewan McGregor) having faced his biggest defeat when his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), fell to the dark side and became Sith Lord Darth Vader. Now, the hunt to defeat more Jedi is on.

The key to that, as teased in the trailer, "is patience. ... Their compassion leads a trail. The Jedi code is like an itch. It cannot help it." And as long as that is true, all hope should not be lost.

McGregor reprises his role of Obi-Wan in the Disney+ limited series, and Christensen will return as Darth Vader. Surrounding them in the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

The show comes from director Deborah Chow, who also executive produces alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, McGregor, and Joby Harold. Lucasfilm produces.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is latest Star Wars universe-set project to come to Disney's streaming service, following the Emmy-winning drama series The Mandalorian

Revenge of the Sith has a Metascore of 68, with mostly favorable reviews, including Variety's Todd McCarthy, who called it "the best in the overall series since The Empire Strikes Back."
