Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick) tries to warn the Umbrella Corporation about the potential to make monsters in the full-length trailer for Netflix's live-action adaptation of Resident Evil, which you can watch below.

Although those working at the controversial corporation claim they are going to change the world with what they are working on now, they never promised they would change it in a good way. And when it is discovered that the drug they are working with contains a T-virus, that is when Albert steps in to explicitly state that the T-virus can create monsters.

But if you know the franchise, you know it's too late. Those monsters are out in the world, and they cause such damage to the human race that many survivors consider 2036 to be the year the world would end. However, one important one, Albert's daughter Jade (Ella Balinska), knows that the end of the world really started well before monstrous creatures were made.

Now, Jade is fighting for her life in a world overrun by those who became infected, while also trying to find her sister, who went missing.
