Watch a trailer for Season 2 of 'Rutherford' Falls ahead of its June premiere on Peacock.
Jana Schmieding and Ed Helms in 'Rutherford Falls'
PeacockNathan Rutherford (Ed Helms) has been hiding out since the events of Season 1 of Rutherford Falls, but when Season 2 premieres on June 16, he comes home. And it turns out, he has missed a lot! See a sneak peek at what to expect in the new season via the just-released trailer below.
For one thing, the new Minishonka Cultural Center has finally opened, which makes Reagan (Jana Schmieding) busier than ever. But there was also a "town revamp," which means now there are even more town events to attend — some of which are celebrations and some of which cause anger — and new relationships to contend with. Nathan's actions in Season 1 made him semi-famous (or at least infamous) as the subject of a podcast, while Reagan is also making (more local) waves. And of course Tribal Casino CEO Terry Thomas (Michael Greyeyes) is continuing to fight for even more change.
The eight-episode second season of the Peacock comedy will see Nathan and Reagan help each other with work, romance, and major changes to their small town, in addition to the Native American reservation it borders.
Rutherford Falls has a 67 Metascore thus far. The show comes from co-creator and showrunner Sierra Teller Ornelas, with Michael Schur and Helms also serving as co-creators and executive producers, and Mike Falbo, David Miner, and Morgan Sackett as additional executive producers. Jesse Leigh, Dustin Milligan, Dallas Goldtooth, and Kaniehtiio Horn also star in the Universal Television, in association with Fremulon, 3 Arts Entertainment and Pacific Electric Picture Company, production.
