Sling TV is one of the most affordable streaming services available. It offers two plans -- Sling Orange or Sling Blue, each at $35/mo. Or, you can combine the two plans, Orange & Blue, to get all the channels for $50/mo.
Both packages include 50 hours of cloud DVR. Sling Orange has 32 channels, but the service can only be streamed on one device at a time. This package is best for NBA fans and families. Sling Blue has 42 channels and can be streamed on three devices at the same time. It's best for news and entertainment. If you opt for the combined package, you get 50 channels that you can stream simultaneously on four devices.
The streaming service fuboTV has three plans with prices starting at $65/mo. Its basic Starter plan has 117 channels, 250 hours of cloud DVR, and can be watched on three screens at the same time.
When choosing between Sling TV vs. fuboTV, you'll want to consider that fuboTV offers more channel options, especially for sports fans, but Sling TV has a more budget-friendly monthly price.

Both services give you the opportunity to upgrade your DVR storage. While both offer premium channels, neither service has HBO Max or Cinemax.
Disadvantages
Sling TV
Unlike most streaming services Sling TV does not offer local channels. Although Sling TV has a low starting price, all the potential add-ons could quickly raise the total to that of some of the more expensive services.
fuboTV
The biggest drawback to fuboTV is that the service does not offer the Turner networks, including CNN, TBS, TNT, TruTV, and more. The inability to set parental controls could be an issue for families, as well.
Our final take
When comparing Sling TV vs. fuboTV, the main factor to consider is your budget and the channels you want. If you're most concerned about your monthly rate, Sling TV is the way to go as it's $30/mo. less than fuboTV.
However, if you want more channels to choose from or are very interested in sports, fuboTV is the answer as it has more than double the number of sports channels compared to Sling TV.
The streaming service fuboTV offers a seven-day free trial. Although this option is not available with Sling TV, you can cancel the service at any time.
