The Emmy-winning Succession won't be back on HBO until Spring 2023, but the premium cable network has already dropped a first look at the forthcoming fourth season via an episodic image of series star Brian Cox and an almost minute-long teaser, which you can watch below.

"Everything I try to do, people turn against me," Logan Roy (Cox) says in the clip. "I'm a hundred feet tall. These people are pygmies."

Those people, of course, are the "rebel alliance," aka the family members who are the younger generation vying for control of the company.

The fourth season sees the sale of Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) inching closer, which causes even more tension and division among the Roy family members. Each has to anticipate what their individual lives will look like once that deal goes through, which of course increases the power struggle between them because everyone wants to ensure they come out on top, even as their weight in culture, media, and politics may be diminished overall.

The show also stars Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Dagmara Domińczyk, Arian Moayed, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, Annabelle Dexter- Jones, Juliana Canfield, and Jeannie Berlin. Cherry Jones, Hope Davis, Justin Kirk, and Stephen Root also appear in the season.

Succession, which currently has a Metascore of 83 from its first three seasons, was created by Jesse Armstrong, who also serves as showrunner. Other executive producers are. Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy and Will Ferrell.
