Allison Argent (Crystal Reed) may have died in the third season of MTV's Teen Wolf, but she makes a triumphant return in the forthcoming followup, Teen Wolf The Movie, and you can see her back in action (quiver included) in a just-released teaser for the film.

After being stabbed with the Oni sword in the third season finale, Allison died in Scott's (Tyler Posey) arms. Despite the constant supernatural events within the world of Teen Wolf, including the event that kicked off the show itself — Scott getting bitten by alpha werewolf Peter Hale (Ian Bohen), which turned him into a werewolf, too — Allison remained dead and gone (though Reed returned for flashbacks in Season 5, the penultimate season.) Therefore, it comes as quite a shock to Scott, and Allison's family, to learn she is back now.

Exactly how and why she is back remains to be seen, though ominous teaser narration offers an unseen person a deal. Perhaps it could be Allison?

"You want retribution against him, his friends, everyone he loves. Set me free and we'll play a new game — a game of chaos, strife, and pain," the narration says.

The "him" in question there is Scott, as evidenced by the way the teaser, which you can watch below, cuts to a shot of him after that piece of dialogue. Scott always had a strict moral code and did not want to kill, even his enemies. That does not mean that he was not up against his share of rivals, nor does it mean he was not responsible for harm from time to time, especially once he became an alpha. So, the past is certainly coming back to (sorry) bite him.

Now, Scott will have to gather new allies and old friends to fight what could be the most powerful threat yet. Everyone will be out in full force: werewolves, banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes, and shapeshifters.

Teen Wolf The Movie reunites series creator Jeff Davis with most of the original cast. In addition to Posey, Reed, and Bohen, that includes Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio, Nobi Nakanishi, Khylin Rhambo, Amy Workman, and Dylan SprayberryVince Mattis joins as a new cast member.

Although a release date has not yet been announced, the movie will be available on Paramount+ when it is released.

The film is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and MGM's Orion Television.
