Fandom Brands Launch 'The Last of Us' After Show (Watch)

The highly-anticipated dramatic series adaptation of popular video game The Last of Us has finally premiered on HBO — and with a Metascore of 84, it achieved must-watch status. But with it also comes a very special video series from Fandom's editorial brands.

Titled The Chat With Us: A The Last of Us After Show, the half-hour after show is co-hosted by TV Guide senior editor Megan Vick and Gamespot Entertainment editor Chris Hayner. The first episode features Metacritic senior editor Danielle Turchiano as a special guest, while upcoming episodes will also include others from the Fandom universe, including Fandom managing editor of entertainment Eric Goldman and TV Guide writer Kat Moon.

"I think The Last of Us is the perfect first show to cover now that all these brands are a part of Fandom because it shows why this acquisition makes sense. This is a show that is bringing to life a beloved video game and starring a beloved TV actor and it's got major cross-over appeal. And now we have a plethora of talent that can contextualize all that based on their various expertise.  And we can connect directly to the fans through The Last of Us community," Fandom's senior director of content Max Dionne said in a statement.

Each episode is designed to break down the events of the latest episode of The Last of Us, also often featuring interviews with those who work on the show. In the premiere episode, Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, and Nico Parker talk about the emotional entrance into the fungus-infected world. Weekly special segments include highlighting a "nightmare scene of the week" and "Ellie's curse of the week." Plus, there will be check ins with game and social media experts to compare the story between mediums and see what fans are talking about, respectively.

The Last of Us airs new episodes at 9 p.m. Sundays on HBO and The Chat With Us: A The Last of Us After Show streams new episodes on Mondays.
