'The Umbrella Academy' Season 3 Clip Welcomes You to the Obsidian Hotel

When The Umbrella Academy returns with its third season on Netflix, the Hargreeves are a bit displaced by the fact that when they stopped an apocalypse at the end of Season 2, they managed to change enough that their father was not actually their father in the world they returned to. Instead, he had adopted a different group of children with abilities and created the Sparrow Academy. 

Obviously that means our usual heroes have some new competition to face, but it also means, on a more practical level, they need a place to stay. Enter the Obsidian Hotel.

As Netflix revealed in a new clip for the forthcoming season (which streams on June 22), this hotel becomes a central location for the characters. With important ties to the elder Hargreeves, Reginald (Colm Feore), it is also the site of the second meeting between the two groups. And it may just have some secrets of its own.

Season 3 also stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Jake Epstein, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, Javon "Wanna" Walton, and Jordan Claire Robbins. 

Steve Blackman developed the show and also serves as showrunner, executive producing alongside director Jeff F. King, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, and Jeremy Webb. Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, who created the graphic novel on which the show is based, serving as co-executive producers. Steve Wakefield is producer. The show hails from produced UCP and currently has a Metascore of 63.
