Adam Hills is quickly becoming known as one of Australia's most talented, successful, and best-travelled comedians. He was born in 1970, and in his shows often talks about growing up in the 70s and 80s.
Before beginning his career as a stand-up comedian, Adam worked as a stage-hand on the Ray Martin Show, and was a popular breakfast radio host. He then went to live in England and develop his comedy act.
Adam Hills has had sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and was nominated for the Perrier Award in 2001, 2002, and 2003. In 2002, he won the Best Of The Fest Peoples Choice Award in Edinburgh.
In Australia, he is most widely known as the talented host of the music quiz show Spicks and Specks where his tasks, besides asking the questions, include trying to keep six other people on track, so that they can get through the whole show in half an hour.
