Barry Buchanan

Biography: Buchanan received his first notice as a wrestler during his time in the United States Wrestling Association. There he was part of a stable called "Truth Commission" where he competed under the name "Recon". On March 22, 1997 Recon and his partner the Interrogator captured the USWA Tag Team titles. Catching the attention of others, he was brought up to the main WWF (now WWE) roster along with fellow members of the Truth Commission stable the Interrogator, Sniper, and the Jackyl. However, the stable was met with very little success and folded quickly. Recon and Sniper then formed a tag team together after the stable's collapse, but that too was short lived. The WWF then took action and sent Buchanan down to their development system in Louisville for further training and enhancement.

Barry was recalled to the main roster a few years later and found himself in a brute tag-team duo with The Big Bossman (Ray Traylor). The team was low-key but did have a memorable moment when they

Barry was recalled to the main roster a few years later and found himself in a brute tag-team duo with The Big Bossman (Ray Traylor). The team was low-key but did have a memorable moment when they dispatched and beat D'Lo Brown and the Godfather at WrestleMania 2000. After his stint with Bossman, Barry was placed into another stable with Steven Richards, The 'Goodfather', Val Venis, and Ivory. That's right, the infamous "Right To Censor". The stable's aim was to rid the WWF program of 'violent' and 'sexual' things such as hardcore weaponry and scantily clad women. If that wasn't enough to make viewers sick, RTC also landed themselves one of the most annoying theme songs ever to disgrace wrestling, nothing but a looping alarm sound that made you temporarily (or perhaps permanently) mute the television set. But on the positive side Barry and The Goodfather managed to subdue the Hardy Boyz on the November 6, 2000 edition of RAW to win the WWF Tag-Team titles. Later in the summer of 2001, Right To Censor was disbanded and Barry was once again thrown right back to Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville.

Barry had one more fling with the WWE at the end of 2002 becoming John Cena's lackey named "B Squared". Needless to say this run fell apart rapidly and Barry was subsequently released by World Wrestling Entertainment. Barry now works various shows wrestling on the independent scene, although mostly in tag-teams in a promotion called Georgia Championship Wrestling.
