David's family relocated from Salford, Manchester to Blackpool during the 60's where he attended Tyldesley Junior & High school.
Leaving school at 16 he served an apprenticeship as a motor mechanic. But oil & grease could not hold him.
In 1983 David joined the British Army for three years, serving with the Royal Artillery in the UK, Germany and Africa. On leaving the army David began his long journey to become an actor.
He trained at St Annes College of Art in Lancashire, England for two years (part-time) having gained entry qualifications through a previous two years in night school.
He then trained at The Drama Centre London, England for three years under Yat Malmgren and Christopher Fettes, amongst other respected tutors. Appearing in many and varied stages productions, often in leading roles.
Since 1991 David has consistently appeared on both the stage and the small screen. He has also done Radio in the UK and advertising work in Europe.
