Jock Mahoney

Biography: Born Jacques O'Mahoney, this rangy, handsome leading man entered films as a stuntman in 1945. Soon he was playing villains in low-budget westerns, and went on to play heroes. He starred in the '50s TV series The Range Rider and Yancy Derringer. In the '60s he became the screen's 13th Tarzan. He was married to actress Margaret Field, the mother of actress Sally Field; he appeared with both of them in the film The End (1978), his last screen appearance. During his career he was also billed variously as Jacques O'Mahoney, Jock O'Mahoney and Jack Mahoney.
