Biography: Born on December 1, 1946, Jonathan Katz is a comedian, actor and voice actor. Originally a musician and songwriter, Katz fronted a rhythm and blues group called "Katz and Jammers" before getting his start in comedy. In 1995, he received an Emmy for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for the show "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist," which he starred in. In 1996, Katz was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). After struggling to come to terms with the disease, he finally told his colleagues in the entertainment industry. He now speaks as part of a tour sponsored by a manufacturer of medications used to treat MS. Jonathan's first comedy CD, "Caffeinated," was released on Standup Records on January 30, 2007. Currently, he hosts a talk radio show titled "You're on the Air with Jonathan Katz."
