Nancy Lee (I)

Biography: Nancy is a well known Canadian sports executive, best known for her term as the Executive Director of CBC Sports from 2000 to 2007.

Nancy began her career with the CBC in 1987 becoming the corporation's first full-time national female sports reporter on CBC Radio. She would go on to produce The Inside Track and headed up Radio Sports from 1994 to 1996 when she became deputy head of TV Network Sports, a position she held until her promotion to Executive Director in 2000. Nancy became the first woman to lead a negotiating team for a top sports property for a major North American broadcast network in 2002 when she negotiated a new contract between the CBC and the National Hockey League.

In 2007 she resigned to become the Chief Operating Officer of the host broadcast team for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
