Robert Coote

Biography: A classy, humorous, sophisticated British character actor, Robert Coote debuted in English films of the '30s. He then moved to Hollywood from 1939 till the late '40s, after which he worked on both sides of the Atlantic. Noted in theater for his creation of the character Colonel Pickering in the New York and London productions of the musical My Fair Lady, Coote starred in the TV comedy series The Rogues.
