Shelley Curtis

Biography: Shelley is an American soap opera director and producer. She started working on daytime in 1979, when she was hired as the Associate Director for "General Hospital," a job that she held until 1982. In 1983, Shelley took a double duty as director/producer of "Days of our Lives" and kept the positions until 1988, when she was offered the position of Supervising Producer on the show. In 1992, Shelly returned to "General Hospital" as the Director/Producer/Consulting Producer, and kept the numerous positions until 2001. During that period, she also occasionally directed episodes of "Loving," "One Life to Live" and "Port Charles." Her work on "General Hospital" was awarded with 7 Daytime Emmys. She was also listed as the Consulting Producer for "Port Charles" during 1997-1999. Since 2002, Shelley has been occasionally directing episodes of "Guiding Light" and "All My Children."
