Biography: Star of Water Rats, recently passed away. The 33-year-old mother of two, best known for starring in A Country Practice and Grass Roots, died of an aneurysm in Connecticut in the United States after battling skin and pancreatic cancer. Fellow actor Peter Mochrie said Heathcote was a good friend who would be sadly missed. "She was inspirational, funny and energetic - a great person," he said. "We were at NIDA together 15 years ago and we went on to Water Rats. She was part of the original cast. "Today I'm very sad. I was always found her to be a really vibrant soul. I'm devastated."
