Despite the flaws, and perhaps the slight over reliance on the "extreme physics" in order to gain a few more sales, Flatout is a quite solid, if never spectacular racing title. If you can work your way through the slow start, once the faster, more powerful cars become available to you, you'll be a very happy man (or woman).- GamerArchive

It appears as if Team 17 are eager to kill their Worms series with new additions. Gimmicks do nothing for a game like Worms.- GamerArchive

The sheer quality, and depth put into developing the world found in Moment OF Silence, and the astonishingly high quality storyline pushing you along as quite the perfect rate is quite dazzling.- GamerArchive

If Capcom wanted to create a real anniversary package, they should have put in Street Fighter Alpha 1, 2, 3, as well as these two games, to give the full chronology of the 2D masterpiece. Instead, this is a pricey, if undeniably fun stab at nostalgia.- GamerArchive

The addictive quality, and sheer joy to play that were very much there in abundance in the 97/98 and 01/02 iterations of the game has returned, and been incredibly well complemented by some tweaks, and fantastic additions to the overall package.- GamerArchive

If anything Warrior Within has become much more adolescent.- GamerArchive

Valve have once again managed to transform a genre, and taken pure gaming pleasure to brand new, unthought of heights. The sheer number of moments you'll be astounded by the graphical touches, by the storyline, by the sheer polished nature of the title, and even the incredible level design is quite astounding.- GamerArchive

While it's possible if you're a fan of the originals to get to grips with this, and enjoy it throughout, for everybody else, Jak 3 is a beautiful, yet disappointing game. It does a lot, but only gets some of it right, and in the end you'll just want to skip whole sections and see the ending.- GamerArchive

The end still lands with a blindsiding jolt. It doesn't help that the last moments of gameplay are so anticlimactic. Regardless of the game's end and its other problems, it takes a fool to say that Halo 2 is a bad game.- GamerArchive

With a sublime mix of a humorous storyline, fantastic weaponry, some pure comedy moments, and some amazingly solid platforming sections, there's very little to criticise in Ratchet and Clank 3.- GamerArchive

After witnessing and playing through some of the most incredibly well designed, and fantastically vast levels in Halo 2, there's nothing but disappointment to gain from Killzone.- GamerArchive

For those who’d see this as their first foray into the world of virtual wrestling, the surprisingly addictive, and much improved story mode is quite the draw. All in all, highly recommended.- GamerArchive

Take a large measure of "GTA III"; add a sprinkle of "Vice City", freshly sliced sprigs of nineties gang culture; stir in dashes of "Manhunt", "Fable", and "Dance-Dance Revolution" to taste, then mix in a nitro-powered-blender from hell. Result? Ten out of ten.- GamerArchive

Yes, it's stupendously attractive. Yes it helps draw you into the theme parks that you create. No, the development of this 3D engine seems to have brought its own problems in the shape of quite a few bugs still easy to spot in the final full retail game.- GamerArchive

In practice the repetitive nature becomes all too tired, all too quickly. The fact that you never really see anything new after the first 10 minutes of play is one that does grate.- GamerArchive

It's under a pound a game, although it is more like five pounds each for the three titles you will play almost exclusively over time. Given the amount of cash you put into these things as a kid (multiplied up by a million times because of inflation and interest lost) it's a steal.- GamerArchive

Paper Mario 2 is full to the brim with that classic magical gameplay that only Nintendo can produce. It's witty; it's fun, and highly original in terms of both visual style and gameplay. Even if you hate RPGs, you can't go wrong with this little gem.- GamerArchive

If you have a creation fix which has grown and nurtured with The Sims and it’s ilk, then no doubt this is a logical next step and you’ll find there’s hours of enjoyment to be had as you get your virtual Romeo and Juliet to consummate their blossoming relationship. If however you’re the complete opposite, it’s a given that you’ll find this to be a dull and repetitive experience.- GamerArchive

Fundamentally this game just probably wasn’t a plausible idea, and I don’t think that anyone beyond a Law & Order watching point-and-click enthusiast who happens to be entranced by the mystery of a good storyline will become that excited about this game.- GamerArchive

The graphics are average at best, and at worst are no better than some of the later PS1 titles with some very rudimentary texture’s. The levels themselves, right from the off seem to be needing another few months work to give them a much more paced feeling.- GamerArchive

The game still doesn’t do anything technically new. THUG 2 is what the first Underground game should have been. But, the Underground tag is nothing more than the Emperor’s new skateboard.- GamerArchive

It’s almost difficult to put into words how brilliant the game is. It seems to embody everything that gaming is about – pure fun, lacking any frustration at all, requiring the simplest of button presses to absorb you into a world full of colour and beauty that you will get lost in for hours on end.- GamerArchive

The average aesthetics, the incredibly poor enemy AI, and poor linear level design drag down the score. The sense of actually being in a terrifying conflict however is well done here, and praise must go to the developers for creating quite an immersive experience.- GamerArchive

In the long run, every RPG enthusiast would likely agree that Fable, though not as sophisticated or profound an experience as some other RPG's, is still as purely fun to play as any other title available on the Xbox.- GamerArchive

Slick, pulse-pounding fun that will have you shouting happily at the top of your voice in shock at the addictive and visceral action onscreen...[But t]o see the computer rewarded for slick driving, and yet not lose anything for crashing is a demoralising and frustrating experience that detracts from the single-player game.- GamerArchive
