The graphics, sound, playability and diverse atmosphere make it one of the more compelling RPGs we’ve played to date. It does a decent job of being a lot of things to many and does so with ample amounts of grace.

A wickedly cool game. It offers us the best of standard FPS games with new parameters making the game more challenging than just gunning down goons.

A double-barreled shotgun, a gravity gun…oops, I mean grabber, Hell Time and slight variations on demons are fun in Doom 3 but not a good enough reason to buy the expansion pack.

It is hard to play the game and NOT enjoy it. It reaches the kid in all of us.

It’s not that it’s that bad of a game, it’s just that most of what’s under the hood on this one has been done before.

A very simple game, but it is also very entertaining. It is easy to whittle away hours chasing galleons, seeking buried treasure or raiding ports. Meier seems to have a way with making games that are hard to stop playing.

If you can take the best puzzle-guessing, enemy-fighting, graphically beautiful shooters out there and combine them ' you'd come close to hitting the mark that makes up HL2.

A great RPG with wonderful stories, incredible looks and the ability to plunge players deeply into the dark, twisted world of Vampire the Masquerade. Aside from the unfair yet expected side-by-side comparison with Half-Life 2, Bloodlines is a beautiful game that is as mesmerizing as Dracula's eyes.

A fantastic driving game. It has style, variety and a solid ride with hours of action driving like a freaking maniac on the streets of Bay View.

We haven't heard more moving music in a game before. EA hired a real orchestra to play the songs and the results are very well done and help fit the somber mood most of the missions you go on.

A decent game with an outstanding theme and some innovative ideas for making an FPS more challenging, but remains bogged down with frustrations by the same ideas.

While there are plenty of changes to how multiplayer works and plenty of new weapons, the overall feel of the game is unmistakably Tribes.

It's pretty graphic in its representation of sex, and it's about as fun and interesting as watching your cat lick itself.

The lack of tangible information is probably what hurts Evil Genius the most -- alarm systems register for both tourists and spies, minions die without warning, traps are on fire and you often get only one real warning -- generally, it feels like you just don't have anywhere near as much data coming in as you should.

If you want gritty, realistic combat action, go buy "United Offensive"—if you want the "digital crack" factor that has defined the Battlefield titles, and you dig the Star Wars series, then definitely give this one a try.

At first the slow pace can be trying for action junkies, but after a short bit of time you find yourself playing just a little bit longer to finish that last task or to reach another goal.

The main reason Call of Duty: United Offensive isn’t perfect is because it eventually ends, leaving you wanting more...It's everything a person could want in an expansion pack.

It’s a masterpiece of in-your-face action, a good plot, trend-setting graphics and audio that’ll have you screaming for hours. [5 1/2 "drips"]

The game sucks in every sense of the word. Sure, Bruce Campbell narrates the tutorial but that is the sole tiny nugget of goodness buried in this huge pile of wasted game.

We flat loved the wide open feel of the game, got a ton of enjoyment out of it, and really liked the look and feel of the game engine and the weapons and interaction interface.

The PC release of this one feels as though it was rushed, and will probably bring you nearly as much pain as it does pleasure.

Though there’s not a ton of replay value to this one, if you play it on the medium (or highest, if you’re totally insane) difficulty setting, you’ll have enough of a challenge to get a big dose of the sick and twisted Hitman-style gaming all us psycho-killers have grown used to over the years.

No multiplayer is offered. Too bad—it might have seriously added to the replayability, even if it was deathmatch only. But nonetheless, it’s a challenging and fairly entertaining experience.

The Painkiller soundtrack doesn’t exist. It is a heavily repetitious heavy metal lick that repeats itself way too much.

Pandora's storyline is easier to follow than the original game and does a good job of getting you wrapped up into the scheme of things.
