Grand Theft Auto V is not just the best sandbox game there is. It's not just one of the best 3rd-person shooters ever. It's not just a great action game, a great driving game, and a great piloting or sports game. It's not just the biggest audiovisual spectacle in the last few years. Grand Theft Auto V is the best game in the current console generation, period.- LaPS4

Dear Kojima, thanks for giving us this sophisticated engineering machinery. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is simply a revolutionary product and probably the best stealth game in recent years. It's not afraid of the sandbox genre, it draws a vast and open field full of hours of gameplay, freedom, unlimited fun and a constant desire to know what will happen next. Kojima, you are the real Big Boss.- LaPS4

Rockstar has done it again. Red Dead Redemption 2 has surpassed all the reference titles of its genre, becoming a masterpiece of video games. A title that marks a before and after in how the effort and dedication of a studio are able to take a generation of consoles to a new exponent, demonstrating that excellence is only reserved for a select few. If you like to get lost in an unforgettable world, this title is a must on your bookshelf.- LaPS4

Death Stranding is a masterpiece that offers a complex and overwhelming story, with a risky gameplay that encourages us to enjoy the trip and with a soundtrack and a graphics section that leave some of the most amazing and incredible scenes in the history of video games.- LaPS4

Grand Theft Auto V jumps into the next gen to also become the best current game. It is inevitable to see technical aspects belonging to the old gen, but it doesn't burden the work Rockstar made in this remaster, which is outstanding. There are reasons to go back to Los Santos, this time with PS4.- LaPS4

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is the first great gift by Naughty Dog to the PS4 users. But it's also for you, Uncharted fan, who now reads these lines after years following the exciting adventures of the "descendant" of Sir Francis Drake. This generation really begins with Uncharted 4, because this game is what everyone was expecting. It's technically excellent, it's what's really required for this console. The grand finale for one of the best PlayStation franchises.- LaPS4

A must have for those who couldn't play it on PS3. Intense, violent and emotional, Joel and Ellie's tale is as stunning as a year ago. Visual improvements and extra content are the only incentives those who played the original will find, and the reason they will have to think it's worth buying PS4's version.- LaPS4

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a fresh start for a franchise that wasn't living up to fans' expectations on the last installments. A challenging combat system, charismatic characters and a plot that surprise in every chapter are the foundations of this ambitious project. Square Enix not only fulfill a promise made years ago; the team also expanded the world of FFVII beyond our expectations.- LaPS4

Naughty Dog puts an end to the current generation with a game that explores the human interaction of two characters, Joel and Ellie, that are destined to get along in a shattered world that has been wonderfully represented thanks to its impressive technical aspects. The Last of Us, in spite of its small imperfections, is an adult title that no PS3 player should let go unplayed.- LaPS4

NBA 2K18 is the king of the sports genre. This entry happens to be an inflection point within the franchise, being the biggest jump when it comes to new mechanics and quality during this generation. The Hood is the biggest of the last years in a game of this characteristics, something that points 2K Sports and Visual Concepts as the vanguard of innovation in this aspect.- LaPS4

Final Fantasy XV is going to be the most remembered game of 2016. It is really different from anything we've seen in the series so far, but really traditional at the same time. It has an obsessive respect for the fan that goes along with state-of-the-art audio-visual aspects able to bring life to a humongous map with so many things to do, so many secrets to discover and yes, some lineal, but logic parts. Controversial issues, like combat or summon mechanics are really solid once you get to the endgame, where the experience has already blossomed. Embrace its changes, the JRPG King is back.- LaPS4

Even surpassing their own work in LittleBigPlanet, they offer us an excellent product, thanks to an incredible display of imagination, with some of the most remarkable visuals and gameplay we have seen on PlayStation Vita so far.- LaPS4

PS4 gets a must-have with Bloodbore. Not technically brilliant, nor seamless when it comes to frame rate. However, there isn't another game as astonishing in its artistic work, as well as making us feel things like fear, being powerful, getting frustrated, aware of dangers and, finally, achieving the ultimate satisfaction. Bloodborne means all that... and much more.- LaPS4

If we had to capture NBA 2K16 superiority over any other sports game, we would probably choose Pau Gasol's overwhelming power, shown in the latest Eurobasket. 2K Sports franchise's new entry has the best that basketball has to offer, with many modes to enjoy it as never before. NBA 2K16 just destroys any other challenger who dares to take a step forward.- LaPS4

RPGs have a new king with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED has turned Adrzej Sapkowski's work into an amazing interactive spectacle in terms of visuals, plot and gameplay mechanics. Every hour invested in this game will be an hour of fun. The only disappointment is the optimization of the game on PS4. Frequent frame rate drops blur the experience. An issue we expect to be solved with updates but, for now, are quite a burden while playing.- LaPS4

Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition is the best version of the famous game you can find in consoles. Many new mechanics added to the PS4 version, stacking with the already deep game mechanics, altogether with the chance to get the same improvements as the PC version in the future, makes it the best next-gen hack'n slash RPG.- LaPS4

It's an impressive game, there's no lull in the entire story. It's full of emotions, with a constant fight inside Lara. The creators they have taken the evolution of the protagonist to a place which I particularly love. It's amazing how she's created her own path, how she has placed the foundations that make it and after all that, you can tell how easy it can be destroyed or how it tumbles to survive in her heart. World's fate is in Lara Croft's hands, and She looks so human, so sensitive and yet so dedicated and strong. All of these things make the shadows and the lights of the tomb raider, Lara Croft.- LaPS4
