Grand Theft Auto V is not just the best sandbox game there is. It's not just one of the best 3rd-person shooters ever. It's not just a great action game, a great driving game, and a great piloting or sports game. It's not just the biggest audiovisual spectacle in the last few years. Grand Theft Auto V is the best game in the current console generation, period.

Rockstar has done it again. Red Dead Redemption 2 has surpassed all the reference titles of its genre, becoming a masterpiece of video games. A title that marks a before and after in how the effort and dedication of a studio are able to take a generation of consoles to a new exponent, demonstrating that excellence is only reserved for a select few. If you like to get lost in an unforgettable world, this title is a must on your bookshelf.

Grand Theft Auto V jumps into the next gen to also become the best current game. It is inevitable to see technical aspects belonging to the old gen, but it doesn't burden the work Rockstar made in this remaster, which is outstanding. There are reasons to go back to Los Santos, this time with PS4.

Naughty Dog puts an end to the current generation with a game that explores the human interaction of two characters, Joel and Ellie, that are destined to get along in a shattered world that has been wonderfully represented thanks to its impressive technical aspects. The Last of Us, in spite of its small imperfections, is an adult title that no PS3 player should let go unplayed.

A must have for those who couldn't play it on PS3. Intense, violent and emotional, Joel and Ellie's tale is as stunning as a year ago. Visual improvements and extra content are the only incentives those who played the original will find, and the reason they will have to think it's worth buying PS4's version.

In conclusion, the game has a very good score, thanks to its excellent graphical quality, its impeccable sound and its very entertaining dynamics of gameplay. Both fans and new players of God of war will be pleased to see that the game offers a universe of mythology that offers one of the best gaming experiences that has come to the PlayStation 4.

Atlus goes the extra mile with an exceptional remake that is full of new features. Persona 4 Golden will captivate you from the very beginning, offering not only a very addictive experience, but also a very entertaining one, with the perfect combination of role-playing and social simulation. Both aspects coexist in perfect harmony, making this game one of Vita's must have titles.

For many people, Persona 5 is the best JRPG in years. It is a wonderful and psychological journey to the dark side of humans, with dynamic combat by turns and aesthetics that are very colorful and alive. Here you have many hours of play, activities, social links and elegance. Atlus must continue this series: it can go very far.

Dear Kojima, thanks for giving us this sophisticated engineering machinery. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is simply a revolutionary product and probably the best stealth game in recent years. It's not afraid of the sandbox genre, it draws a vast and open field full of hours of gameplay, freedom, unlimited fun and a constant desire to know what will happen next. Kojima, you are the real Big Boss.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is the first great gift by Naughty Dog to the PS4 users. But it's also for you, Uncharted fan, who now reads these lines after years following the exciting adventures of the "descendant" of Sir Francis Drake. This generation really begins with Uncharted 4, because this game is what everyone was expecting. It's technically excellent, it's what's really required for this console. The grand finale for one of the best PlayStation franchises.

Capcom created a remake of Resident Evil 4 that is more than up to the original, modifying and adding new elements to its playable formula, without losing the essence of the 2005 game.

PS4 gets a must-have with Bloodbore. Not technically brilliant, nor seamless when it comes to frame rate. However, there isn't another game as astonishing in its artistic work, as well as making us feel things like fear, being powerful, getting frustrated, aware of dangers and, finally, achieving the ultimate satisfaction. Bloodborne means all that... and much more.

Undertale's reputation is a heavy burden when you launch it two years later in a new platform. It isn't flawless at all. The price, taking into consideration it's an English only game, may turn off may people. However, trying to enjoy all of its routes and extremely polished plot and situations is something that is worth while in the long term. Not a game for everyone, that's for sure, but if you see it on sale, is a cultural phenomenon you should try for yourself.

RPGs have a new king with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED has turned Adrzej Sapkowski's work into an amazing interactive spectacle in terms of visuals, plot and gameplay mechanics. Every hour invested in this game will be an hour of fun. The only disappointment is the optimization of the game on PS4. Frequent frame rate drops blur the experience. An issue we expect to be solved with updates but, for now, are quite a burden while playing.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes from PC world to become one of the most complete RPG games in PlayStation 4 catalog. The freedom of action it offers will appeal to players who are more familiar with the Rol genre, but maybe the amateur players will find too much complexity in this game. The control is not accessible at all and the keyboard and mouse are missing on more than one occasion.

Shadow of the Colossus is as astonishing as it was back in 2008. Bluepoint Games has reworked its visuals keeping the essence of Fumito Ueda's game, and make this game ascend to be among the best games ever remade. It has a solid framerate, wich solves a particular issue of the original SotC and results in an all-round superb game.

Blood & Wine is the perfect closure to a perfect game. A humongous DLC, with an absorbent plot and many, many things that you will want to do. Get involved with the Wolf's last adventure, but do it with enough spare time, since you will be playing non stop for many hours. I swear upon the heron.

Playdead has made a game equally interesting both in its gameplay as in its plot. Everything feels so natural and the combination of puzzles, platforms and sidescrolling enhances the formula already used in Limbo. Inside will be in your mind well after you've finished it, and its ending's many interpretations make an overall superb experience and a remarkable game.

Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition is the best version of the famous game you can find in consoles. Many new mechanics added to the PS4 version, stacking with the already deep game mechanics, altogether with the chance to get the same improvements as the PC version in the future, makes it the best next-gen hack'n slash RPG.
