Those who know what to expect from Harvest Moon will find here one of the best titles of the series. To those not familiar with the gameplay, we recommend the game with some caution, since it’s slow and repetitive mechanic, while captivating, will bore the less patient and frustrate those with little time to invest in the discovery of the hidden treasures of a country life. In this effort to regain the title, PES plays it safe and recovers the classic gameplay that conquered the players in the last decade. But while it can be enough to hold on the fans, the reused formula and the comeback of the same old flaws can be a growing problem for the future. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The gameplay is very challenging and realistic, alongside a very good mechanic component and the inclusion of all the licenses of the Superbike world. But only the really hardcore fans of motorcycle competitions will be able to put aside its technical limitations. [Aug 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

LBP is a unique game. It disguises itself as a 2D platform game but surprises the players with a set of editing tools and level sharing absolutely amazing. With a distinctive style and an everlasting future potential, we can say that Sackboy already conquered this industry. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

We live in a complicated age for all sandbox games, after "GTA IV". Saints Row 2 is a victim of that comparison, because while it has some elements that are better than the Rockstar game, it can’t satisfy in the technical aspect. In fact, it has some huge technical issues, which not even the co-op, the good customization tools or the mindless fun allow to be overlooked. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Technically impressive, Dead Space can be described as a mix of "Resident Evil 4" with films like "Event Horizon" and "Aliens". If you have the age and the stomach to get trhough it’s violent and morbid content, you’ll enjoy one of the best horror games available. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Here is the best football simulator available in the market. It presents the emotion and tactical elements of football like no other, maintaining a connection with real world trough the Live Season. The online mode 10 vs 10 is a milestone in the genre. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Despite being a fantastic game, we can't say we are totally satisfied with NBA Live 09. We are sure that the EA team has the talent to make a better game and taking the series to a really groundbreaking level, as they show with the NBA Live 365 functionality. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Falling short of the excellence usually offered by Bioware, as it invests in some repetitive elements of exploration and combat, this game has a simple mechanic, puzzles and a nice tactical element in battles. Despite the story’s slow start, in general it makes good use of the Sonic universe, presenting many known characters. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Fans of this historical series can be certain that they will be completely satisfied with this game. It’s nothing revolutionary, but Sony managed to elevate all the elements to an outstanding level, appealing not only to fans, but also to new players. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It’s still pretty similar to previous titles from the series, but if you like to play with a group of friends, it’s always nice. Maybe the humor and its friendly nature can compensate for the lack of originality… but only if you don’t have any of the other games from the franchise. [Apr 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

While it’s not a rupture from the series roots, this is still an excellent experience, thanks to a thrilling story and a group of characters that can touch the player. The tactical nature of the gameplay is still a distinctive approach in the World War II genre. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Here is one of the most amusing games for Wii. It’s more colorful than the original version and has an amazing playlist, although the Wiimote is not so accurate has the maracas. In addition, we also have to complaint about the lack of an online mode. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Taking advantage of the experience of previous titles, this new Buzz manages to offer a lot more. More quantity and more options, with the introduction of online support for multiplayer sessions and downloadable content. [July 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

A logical addiction to the PSP library, Master Quiz is, although, less multiplayer-friendly than the other titles of the series. Even so, it can improve if you have friends with the game, because the console sharing option doesn’t work so well. Unfortunately, the single player is also very limited. Here is one of the most interesting approaches to the SimCity concept. The slow pace can push away players expecting for quick fun, and the lack of more save slots can be frustrating for those of like to keep their cities. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Embracing the Dark Side of the Force, this is a game plenty of action, memorable locations e a few surprises in the Star Wars world. It has some technical issues and an incoherent difficulty, but it’s still an experience that no fan should miss, also deserving the attention of the action gamers. Promising to crush the opposition, Impact! concentrates on the gameplay, overlooking everything else. This way, it has strong points in the gameplay and graphics, but then there are the flaws in the AI, the limited set of moves, the lack of content and a very limited Story Mode. But the future of the series can be bright. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Arriving very late to Europe, Yakuza 2 is already showing signs of age. But despite some technical problems, it can make a good use of an interesting story, a brutal combat system and an exciting environment. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It has charisma and it’s quite fun. Despite the arcade style, its combat mechanic is very technical and rewarding, although the difficulty could be more balanced. One final word for the character creator, that allows for the most bizarre creations. [Sept 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Viva Piñata is a very peculiar game, hardly attractive to the casual player. Even so, it’s charm and the way it reveals the game’s complexity seduces the players looking for something different. A few game modes ease this sequel for the younger players, the game’s main target. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)
