An entertaining amuse-bouche, with a good sense of humour and some decent horror-themed gunplay. A nice little teaser for the main event.

From the charming visuals to the fun and addicting gameplay, Plantera 2 is one of the best idle games I have played. The only negative I can think of is that it hurt my hand a tiny bit when I was mashing click on a Loot Hero. Outside of that very minor problem, this game is fantastic. I loved every second of this charming expierence.

This game is quite a nice idea, but it could require a bit more work. I liked the concept, and love the color graphics and cuteness factor, but the few issues that came up so often are hard to pass and forget about. I think I was half the time frustrated and getting a headache from how much I was going around in circles to select and try to do anything I could in the game. Unless a few things get fixed, this game may not be on my radar anytime soon.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers fails to break into the asymmetrical survival genre. With confusing mechanics and a lack of content, it isn't fulfilling. Furthermore, the action isn't balanced and the online lobbies are dying. Consequently, finding a match is slow and frustrating. It was a shame as I loved the Dragon Ball lore and the loud audio.

Tricky Thief is a colourful top-down puzzle experience. With simple mechanics and a gentle learning curve, it is pretty easy to master. However, the latter stages are much harder as more mechanics are introduced.

An interesting premise let down by wonky execution and by-the-book scares. Treads the same path that stronger games have already carved out.

Peppa Pig: World Adventures is a phenomenal child-friendly title that will impress your youngsters. With fun and safe gameplay, and vivid colours, this is aimed at a younger audience. However, as an adult, it was pretty annoying. Thankfully, though, the simple controls and straightforward mechanics allow your children to tackle this alone.

Overall I had fun with Sanctuary Saga thanks to its great battle system and charming pixel art visuals. However, the lackluster story and the repeat walkthroughs of every area hurt the experience for me. If there were more enemies to fight, more dungeons to go through, or even more story sequences to play through I feel as though I would have had a better time as is. Fortunately, the developers are continuing to work on this game, even after its launch, but as it is now, this game is simply a decent experience.

Smurf Kart is a perfect family-style game that anyone can play. It’s amusing and easy, just what I expect from the Smurfs. The karts are all unique and have their own character that rides them, allowing the player a choice between 12 to decide upon. There is no wait to unlock a character, you get to enjoy all of them right away, which I love. Plus, even for an easy game, it could use some more classic Smurf sound effects from the characters and add a few new fun tracks or rewards to be achieved. Otherwise, it’s not a bad game, and maybe a bit easy for everyone to win a race for the first time.

An ambitious RTS that attempts to shoulder the legacy of its predecessors. The skirmish combat remains fun and the campaign map has potential, but it's let down by wonky AI and a confusing difficulty curve.

Resident Evil 4 (2023) is a phenomenal remake of a fantastic game. With a twist on the excellent plot and some incredible new mechanics, this is great for newcomers and veterans alike. If you haven't experienced this dank and grim world, you are in for a treat. However, if this isn't your first rodeo, you'll adore the additional elements and the gritty and uncomfortable story.

Fights in Tight Spaces is a challenging rogue-like tactical deck-builder. With striking but simple aesthetics and moreish action, this is tough to put down. However, a heavy reliance on luck is frustrating and undermines many of the phenomenal elements.

Fight'N Rage is a fantastic retro side-scrolling beat 'em up. With 16-Bit-inspired graphics, fun sprites, and a weird story, this oozes retro charm. However, a lack of guidance may frustrate some gamers.

Overall, “DIG – Deep in Galaxies” is a solid game that provides hours of entertainment. The multiplayer system is a great addition, and the graphics are lovely. The roguelike mechanics keep things challenging and unpredictable, although the learning curve can be a bit steep for new players. The game can feel repetitive after a while, but the distinctive 2D landscapes and ecosystems of each planet make up for it. This game is definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of the roguelike genre or if you’re looking for a game to play with your friends. Just be prepared to die a lot and spend some time getting the hang of things. With a bit of patience and perseverance, you’ll be able to DIG deep and uncover all the secrets that this game has to offer.

Echo Generation is a fun 80s-inspired Voxel adventure title. With witty dialogue and fantastic turn-based combat, this is a wonderful tactical but casual experience. What's more, I adored the visuals and the fantastic audio. However, there is no way to keep on top of your quests and this can be confusing. Consequently, the developers should have added a journal to overcome this issue.

One thing that I really must mention is even if the game might feel a bit simple, it reduces the need to think or concentrate heavily on what you need to do next. Cause if your day is already filled with stressful things, why work harder on winning at a game? I know I don’t want to arrive home and play something more demanding of my mind after I’ve just been using it all day. So to take a break away from the complicated stuff coming in daily, this is a perfect game to unwind and a great reason to smile.

For the most part, not to include the downfalls, this game could be a quite fun and unique adventure into the deep blue sea. It’s full of creative creatures you can learn about and some that might make you laugh or scare you. The combat using your friend is something original, especially when that friend is a swordfish robot, or whatever you’d like to think of this fish as. It really uses the main thing of teamwork when enjoying this game. I honestly found it quite entertaining, challenging, and remarkable with the display of art at every level as you swim through each section of this maze-like game.

Fernbus Simulator is a simulation title that doesn't hold your hand. Consequently, with plenty of detail, this can be challenging to master. Yet, once you understand the fundamentals, you experience a rich driving experience. Sadly, though, a lack of business mechanics prevent it from scoring higher and reaching its full potential.

From start to finish, this game really has taken me through some amazing missions, entertaining video content, and action-packed gameplay with levels of massive and destructive villains. For the beautiful art which makes up the graphics, well let’s just say there is plenty to gawk at! Everything that Mario represents is shown in this game, with the addition of those humorous Rabbids. Plus, the ability to build a team of unlikely characters really makes for some entertaining storylines and some marvelous defeats! Lastly, even if there have been many Rabbid games in the past, I felt this game might have just topped them. It has exceeded my expectations and has me curious to see what the future beholds with the Rabbids. So I fully stand beside this game and recommend it for a worthwhile, new experience worth playing.

Calturin is a dark and grim bullet hell title. With tough stages to complete and hard bosses to overcome, this will test your ability and patience. Alongside this, you can up the ante by tackling either a red of black portal. This idea was simple but fantastic as it increased the difficulty without muddying the water.

From the fantastic visuals to the brain-teasing gameplay that tests your musical knowledge, this game is a delightful experience from start to finish. Although the Switch version of the game has some performance issues, the game is still a delight to play there. Even if the game is a little short, the story will keep you hooked from start to finish.

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is a fantastic solo or cooperative 2D platformer. With old-school aesthetics and simple-to-understand elements, this is easy to play. Furthermore, you can be tested if you increase the difficulty. However, the controls and empty levels lead to some criticism. Despite these shortcomings, this is still an excellent title that I enjoyed.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Ultimate Edition doesn't fulfil its potential. With clunky controls, frustrating gameplay, and a lack of depth, it should have been much better. Sadly, I'm not sure that even the Warhammer fanboys/girls will forgive this mess of a title.

Overall, I would say my time spent with Colossal Cave was well spent. It was a fun way to experience an older title brought up to modern times. Unfortunately, the charm is lost on those who don’t have any experience with this style of game and may be extremely off putting for those who like a little more guidance without having to be penalized for using the hint system. This is a wonderful nostalgia trip for many but unfortunately, Nostalgia isn’t enough for everyone.

Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire is an excellent casual title. Its combination of genres was interesting. However, it lacks depth, and this makes it a jack of all trades. Unfortunately, this impacts its longevity. Furthermore, the developers must add more content to ensure it reaches its potential.
