OddBallers has all the elements needed for an amazing party game, both to play with your friends and family at home and to play online for hours. What blocks it from doing it is the high price, which chases away many people who would love to play it.

Paranormasight has more pros than cons in many aspects. It brings an innovative gameplay and flowchart that, sadly, it's not used in an efficient way, sometimes presenting the interesting part of the gameplay just to throw it away to never return. But still, the game has beautiful artwork and music, an incredible story with memorable characters and, if it wasn't for the mentioned flaws, it could be easily the best mystery visual novel out there.

Grim Guardians Demon Purge manages to stand out from other Metroidvania games thanks to its meticulously balanced difficulty and length, the number of secrets, epic boss battles, and a somewhat funny story that is followed by beautiful graphics and an outstanding soundtrack. This is not a random game in the market but is a must-buy for any 2D action lovers and gamers in general.

Metroid Prime Remastered is definitely a beautiful indication as an introduction to the 3D Metroid franchise, brings several improvements far beyond what is expected for a remastered version, and has a great purchase value taking into account its contents. Essential for fans and very suitable for those curious about Metroid in general.

Front Mission was already an amazing game that is fun to play even nowadays, and that got better over time, but the remake managed to correct almost all the flaws from the previous ones: brought a faster and intuitive gameplay, more accessible in terms of difficulty, amazing graphics that don't take away the atmosphere which the old ones got right and much more. If you want a game like DioField Chronicles or Tactics Ogre Reborn, but with a modern setting, or just want to play an incredible TRPG, this game is for you.

Elderand is a challenging metroidvania with a great Lovecraftian setting, with a good length campaign that doesn't drag or make you wander around the map so much. With smart enemies and awesome bosses, it's a game that should be on any fan's bucket list.

Fire Emblem Engage is a title that will divide series fans. Those that love the strategic gameplay will find one of the best titles in the series and one of the best strategy games of the Switch. For those that like the series for its stories and characters, it’s best to hope that the next title in the series fared better in this regard.

Breakers and Breakers Revenge were already fluid, competitive and fun on Neo Geo, but now QUByte brings the game with progression unlockables, a dedicated online mode with Crossplay and new modes that manages to improve what was already good. Breakers Collection is a must have for Nintendo Switch owners that love 2D classic fighting games.

Looking at the entire game, Crisis Core is an extremely important title for the Final Fantasy series, but a lot of its luster was lost in time or simply better realized in games that came after it. The main crucifix of Reunion is making a great remaster on top of a flawed gem of a title. For fans of the original, Reunion is the perfect remaster, while other Final Fantasy and action fans would probably be better with a full remake to realize the premise potential.

Just Dance 2023 Edition brings all the freshness that the franchise needed and a definitive solution by making it as a service instead of an annual title. A must-have game for lovers of good dancing and partying with friends.

Sonic Frontiers tried so hard to bring new elements to the game that it ended up forgetting to put more of the personality of its own franchise. However, they managed to create a dynamic, captivating and fast game - as good as any other in the Sonic franchise. It's the kind of game where time passes like lightning, blue lightning.

Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet had everything to be the best generation in the history of the franchise, and maybe these games still are, but the expansive and fun story is hurt by the enormous amount of visual bugs and performance issues, as well as the fact that the movement freedom is limited by the fixed levels of challenges. Despite that, it's a game worth playing.

Oddworld: Soulstorm is an amazingly done reboot of Abe's Exoddus. Despite its new cover, the game brings remarkable aspects from its original version back from the 90s, but with a novelty flavor.

If you enjoy games with psychological narratives like Silent Hill, the story behind Saint Kotars plot will not let you down: it's scary, sinister and will keep the player longing for answers all the time. But sadly, the technical problems like the non-intuitive menus and the bad performance every time you make a choice will make this somewhat interesting experience into a real chore.

Touken Ranbu Warriors shows once again that Koei-Tecmo does a much better job in the Warriors series spin-offs than in the main Dynasty series, delivering a delicious Musou to be played, in every single aspect of the game, from deep characters to perfect environments. With missions that are shorter than usual, it is the perfect game for beginners in the genre.

Heidelberg 1693 has an interesting and grotesque way to tell its story, and is filled with cool secrets to be found. But sadly, the graphical mess added with its gameplay flaws prevents it from being enjoyable, becoming an unfairly hard and frustrating experience.

SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris tries to please all fans — whether light novel, anime or games. However, excess is the problem. Having so many resources available at the same time was not a good idea, as I got the impression that they don't communicate within the game.

Shovel Knight Dig is different enough to step away from the franchise's original proposal and similar in the right measure to be a game that homages and lives up to its name. The result is an absolutely brilliant game.

Gerda: A Flame in Winter is not a breakthrough in adventure games, but manages to introduce interesting gameplay elements that works pretty well with its interesting and heavy story. We are so used to play war games killing people during the nazi regime that we forget that there are good and bad guys on both sides of a war, like The Book Thief by Markus Zusak showed us, and this game is a perfect example of it, proving how fun a war game can be without the tired Rambo formula so used in FPS and third person shooter games.

It's almost impossible that We Are OFK will be played with indifference. You'll either love it or hate it, be it because of the style, the story, the gameplay, or the beats. This means the game is worth experiencing, and I can assure you the experience is unique and will also introduce you to a new indie band.

SophStar is a lot more than a homage to the classical vertical shoot em ups; It's a diverse, yet fast Shmup with 9 ships that offers a different approach to each stage. For the new public who enjoy a more simulator style, the game offers side missions through cadet school in a fast and innovative way. This is clearly a Shmup made by people who understand the classics and aim to innovate for both new players and veterans.

Anno: Mutationem is not just one more Indie game on the market, it's a must buy for those who want a fulfilling experience in a Cyberpunk universe. Although a little rough around some edges, like the NPC dialogues and imprecise jumps, there is nothing that spoils the great experience this game provides.

Commandos 3 is the living proof that an old game, when done with care and balance, retains its fun even after 19 years of its release. I would be lying if I say I didn't immerse myself again and had a lot of fun with the HD Remaster, but sadly, the immense quantity of bugs and game breaking quickloads that comes with full price make it hard to give a high score, especially when you have Commandos 2 HD, a more complete package. But, if you wanna try, it's still Commandos with its addictive gameplay and personality.
