    Slowdown in single player is unforgivable, particularly because the replays were done fine last year. To see them so broken on what should be a superior version is very disappointing. PES 2008 is more of the same in most areas, with slightly improved gameplay mechanics thanks to better physics and speedier reactions to fouls.

    An underwhelming experience. The game has some great ideas, like the co-op manoeuvres, but doesn’t hit home with them. Instead it leaves them floating around in the park, crying out to be used better.

    The overall feeling of the game is that it doesn’t really excel at anything, but neither does it do too many things wrong to give it a bad grade.

    The free-falling dynamic feels fresh and acts as the element that sets the title apart from the rest of the pack, but due to the poor execution of the intriguing gameplay formula and downsides, like too little “bang for the buck”, Screwjumper! falls flat on its face.

    While the graphics and the game mechanics, coupled with an excellent introduction and finale, absolutely make the game highly enjoyable, its flaws and the lack of challenge and variation pull the game back from its potential classic status into mediocrity, destined to gather dust after a single playthrough. As a package, it stands above the crowd, but not remotely as far as it could and should have been.

    Marks a monumental shift for the series, and one that Infinity Ward has pulled off exceptionally well. The game offers an excellent campaign, along with marvelously balanced and fun multiplayer. The title offers the most complete package of any FPS on the 360.

    Single players will be disgusted at the AI and lack of options and variety on offer. There’s zero substance here. Multiplayer gives a short-lived fun experience, with the mini games making players laugh for all the wrong reasons. The mini games lack imagination that we see in other party games such as Mario Party which actually has something to go back for.

    The blend of puzzle and RPG has really been thought about, and it works very well in this instance. Despite the storyline being slightly lacklustre, the other RPG elements such as the expansion possibilities and the leveling up all make up for it.

    The campaign by itself offers a painfully mediocre experience. Halo 3 really shines in its multiplayer aspects, both Co-Op and competitive. Co-Op alters the campaign experience enough to marginalize the vast majority of its problems and bring you back time and again to play through with friends.

    With AI that require two headshots before they go down, and a dodgy frame rate that for some reason drops when not a huge amount is going on, it lets itself down. The multiplayer is good fun if there’s a room without people using rocket launchers continuously, but again apart from the parachuting the whole affair is pretty generic, although good fun in small doses.

    Beating up bad guys was never so fun and especially with a co-op buddy it’s a blast. Improving your Gamerscore shouldn’t be a problem either as over 75 percent can be achieved quite easily.

    While it certainly isn’t perfect, great features like an excellent story and quite a strategic battle system make it hard to put the game down at times, and will appeal to RPG fans.

    There are very few games that can provide a universe so intriguing that they force players to ask themselves questions about their own morality and decision making in the medium of video games. It’s easy to see that many gamers will walk away from their Xbox 360s having played BioShock feeling some emotional attachment to the events that unfolded right before their eyes and for that 2K Boston have succeeded in their goal.

    For a mere 800 Microsoft Points, gamers can experience party gaming at its best- a form that isn’t bogged down by senseless side-plots and gimmicky gameplay. As an added bonus, the developer plans to add new maps and costumes in the near future, further increasing replayability for the title.

    Prince of Persia probably has some of the best graphics to date on the Arcade, it can even match some retail titles which is a truly great accomplishment of the developers with only 50MB available. Is it worth the 800 MS Points? Definitely, the few cons of the game don’t weigh up against the solid gameplay and good looking graphics.

    It’s too much hard work to get any enjoyment out of this game, there are just too few good parts to make up for the many flaws. Instead of offering a fun ninja experience by itself, you’ll have to look up ways to enjoy it yourself. Not even the four way multiplayer can save this hopeless attempt at a fun game.

    Mad Tracks goes to show the limitations and constraints Microsoft put on XBLA developers with the 50 MB limit, which sadly Mad Tracks had to comply with. And you can tell.

    Everything you could want from a squel. It offers everything that the original Forza did, and a whole lot more. The game now boasts an amazing array of customization options, with people spending hours upon hours tweaking and fiddling with their cars. The online mode is excellent too, with tournaments really showing potential to unite the community.

    It is a shame that it appears that most of its long development time was dedicated to balancing and testing online play against Vista users, instead of actually finishing up the game to meet 2007’s common expectations from a dedicated multiplayer title.

    A mixed bag overall. Initially it will seem excellent; puzzles are fun and challenging, the graphics look nice and it seems quite thought provoking. Discover the solution in the START menu and it begins to change, because lingering in the subconscious is the thought that this puzzle can be easily solved.

    The Xbox Live Vision mode isn’t anything special and the time the developers spent on that would’ve better been invested in more tables. The Multiplayer features don’t do Xbox Live any justice due to the lack of exciting game modes.

    Definitely a fun game with a good choice of songs so far. The single player is challenging while the multiplayer creates a lot fun for you and your friends. The cost of 800 Microsoft Points is a bit high.
