Description: After the racism controversy of 2007's Celebrity Big Brother, the roles of Big Brother and housemates were switched, as celebrities entered the hijack booth on one day hijacks and twelve exceptionally talented young housemates were at their disposal. The series was hosted by Big Brother's Little Brother host, Dermot O'Leary and was narrated by Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley. As it was broadcast on E4 exclusively, Davina McCall, who hosts the Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother series, was not involved at all. Each show like the episodes of Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother consist of highlights of the previous day, with the show normally going out at 9pm. However some eviction shows were split into two, like the eviction shows from the main two series, these episodes were moved around and the air-times are noted at an episode level. Rumours were rife about who would be hijacking the house, some celebrities like Paula Abdul were confirmed but then had to pull out at a later date for scheduling conflicts. Other celebrities such as Jake & Dinos Chapman and The Mighty Boosh were mentioned in newspapers as was the rumour that E4 was going to be forced into putting the celebrities into the house and taking control themselves. In February 2008, it was revealed that Celebrity Big Brother will be returning in 2009.
