Season 1 Review: The main issue with Blade Runner: Black Lotus is that there isn’t really a compelling hook here aside from the Blade Runner bit in the title. The first 2 episodes are very good and the CGI is smooth and well done.

Культовая серия, меланхоличная эстетика, великолепный японский CGI, шикарные фоны которые заслуживают того, чтобы попасть на ваш рабочий стол. Очень круто, что сериал поставлен в другом ключе нежели фильмы. Мне пришелся больше по душе даже чем Blade Runner 2049. А на фоне остальных последнихКультовая серия, меланхоличная эстетика, великолепный японский CGI, шикарные фоны которые заслуживают того, чтобы попасть на ваш рабочий стол. Очень круто, что сериал поставлен в другом ключе нежели фильмы. Мне пришелся больше по душе даже чем Blade Runner 2049. А на фоне остальных последних попыток создать 3D-сериал экранизацию выглядит просто великолепно (Ex Arm, Ghost in sell). Ждем продолжение, но уже хочется пересмотреть. 10/10… Expand

This series is a very difficult case.
It all looks great and the setting is immediately reminiscent of the 1982 film.
But I have problems with the content. The main character is still very colorless to me after episode 1. She lacks that special touch. So far, the plot has been trottingThis series is a very difficult case.

It's blade runner rendered in PS3 era graphics and complete with early 90s, floaty, animations. Blade Runner: Black Lotus is just an embarassment to the Blade Runner lore. Sure, the protagonist is endearing and complex, but the motivation in terms of story and that godawful CG anime approach isn't. If this anime was handdrawn and closely to Shinichiro Watanabe's Blackout 2022, BlackBlade Runner: Black Lotus is just an embarassment to the Blade Runner lore. If this anime was handdrawn and closely to Shinichiro Watanabe's Blackout 2022, Black Lotus would've been great - too bad it isn't. Overall, Black Lotus is just a copy and paste of that goddawful GITS CG SAC_2045 that no one including myself wanted. Alcon messed up on hiring those guys that messed up GITS SAC_2045 alright.… Expand

not eevn close to as good as the 1982 blade runner movie starring harrison ford. should have gotten Harrison Ford back for it..
