Funny, spooky and wonderfully entertaining. [7 Oct 1998]
By the time the episode wraps up with a good-vs.-evil clash, though, it's really rolling, with special effects that are both fun and scary. Doherty, Combs and Milano are appealing, and also believable as sisters, and T.W. King adds a down-to-earth touch as police detective Andy Trudeau, Prue's old boyfriend, who suspects that something is up. [7 Oct 1998, p.E6]

Description Research:
According to the seasons of the show we can say that:
**** first three seasons of the plot development worked well and with the development and intriguing moments, there is an error, but their little, but so quite well thought out.
**** next five seasons are also very well done is interesting moments and the development of the plot, but all the same death of the main character (Prue) and the complete devastation of another main character (Cole) undermined the show itself, very strongly.
In the end, I would like to write that the series itself could be developed even more interesting and kinder (kinder in the sense that we give people to see what we get in return), although the bit of hidden zest is always there. After filming ended, almost none of the cast is no longer "zasvilas" in large-scale projects. In addition, I can say that it was necessary to put more effort into the show as actors and creators, because with the right direction show could evolve more than one season, and much could be more informative - interesting - developing - intriguing, and life itself. About life, you can catch a lot of interesting facts that show the impact of inferiority in the lives of the actors, directors, producers, and how much could have changed if they were more responsible to their craft and what they give others, because more than I am sure that the sense of incompleteness in the series (the work) is present in them, which would have affected their personal lives, everything is connected. It is not for nothing that the main companions in human life under different circumstances appear faith, hope and love, and our spiritual connections with the world around us. **** the whole Theme With Prue Holywell is not disclosed ( with the actress you could have agreed- and Question to the Actress herself- don't leave everything half way, that may be where all the gaps in her life lie!)
Shannen Doherty is having serious health problems (the actress has been diagnosed with cancer) Constance M. Burge didn't have any more of these shows that were very popular (you have to fight for your brainchild).
Personally for Brad Kern and Julianne McMahon.
2.Theme with Cole Turner also has a very negative bias, although his struggle with himself as a demon could be translated into the right direction, but here and Brad Kern tried.
Brad Kern needed not to demonize the character completely, but to bring him into the light, to show what it is like to have faith in yourself and hope for the best.
And it was worthwhile for Julian to get that from his role (Julian McMahon has been in a number of successful television projects, but he hasn't gotten any serious roles).

1.Rose McGowan was in a car accident and underwent some pretty complicated surgeries. 2. Alice Milano and Holly Mary Combs regularly failed in their personal lives and in their attempts to create a fulfilling family. 3.Brian Krause abandoned his acting career altogether, being arrested several times for drunk driving. In general it is worth saying that the development of the series could be developed more Fascinating, Interesting, Intriguing , And on a more number of seasons - if there is a sense of development of fantasy and imagination as it could be!!! As the lives of the Heroes, Directors, Producers and many participants in the series could have turned out very differently. And the main thing to remember is to try to make the world a better place, because there is enough negativity, but to try to convey: Hope for possibilities, Faith in yourself and others and Love in all its manifestations. There are many expressions of wisdom which affect a man spiritually, here are a couple of them ("What goes deep into our souls may hurt more", "Oneness is our strength, not our weakness"), and most importantly remember that we want to pass on to future generations. After all, the emotions that we pass on and accept form a lot in us. The main thing is not to betray what you believe in, what you want to pass on from yourself to others, after all the United States did not become a democratic country with faith in people, and in the future without forgetting about science!

Charmed has an entertaining little way about it, with Spelling and company mostly striking a solid balance between escapist slap-schtick and mild horror. If the opening hour isn't terribly concerned with issues of believability, relatability and self-parody (pilot is notably short on humor), it's likely a saucy enough brew for the WB's target 12-24 demo to swallow. While it doesn't work for me, I'll bet many of the WB's teen viewers who have just finished watching "Dawson's Creek" are going to love it. Love this show! Superb cast, acting, special effects and well written plots. Also very believable characters as sisters and as witches and the other characters as well. The spells in this charming, enchanting and magical series are well thought out. This TV show ran for 8 season with very high ratings. If you haven't watched the original Charmed TV series I highly recommend it. You'll be spellbound. :)

the show was never "tv perfection" the first season is unwatchable, stuff happens on screen and you need to go with the flow. clear example: neighboor dan, had a niece living with him. a 12 years old kid was casted, and SHOOT into the intro. just for 4 episodes later, beeing written off, since the writters "casted the part without having any need to do so"
second season is a bit better. weak and sometimes unbereable. it gets better over time, like wine.
third season was one of the best, too bad prue died for good. after that the show gets messy.
fourth season: new-sister-given-into-adoption,-but-not-really-since-its-from-another-father-but-same-mother appears into the picture. its quite interesting the magical world rules are like that. same mother different fathers: half sister so not really a sister (the show is based upon a trio of sisters that taps infinite amounts of magical ancestral power but there where four even if they did not grow up thogheter...) the excuse is that her powers where not activated... but she always had unconsious active powers...
plus cole, the evil-but-half-demon-half-human-that-goes-good-when-its-convenient looses its powers, and by cringe writting is possesed by the source of all evil... then gets pregnant the sister that marries him without knowing its the source, then gets pregnant of the source (since he gets vanquished by the 3 sisters) the baby is pure evil so by cringe writting gets kidnapped/retrieved by "oracle" a powerful demon seer, then destroys itself the fetus and most of the demonic monarchy/monastery.
season 5: cole comes back as half human/half random powers he got from the demon purgatory aka demon hell, yes demons souls are desintegrated into an infinite bad set piece sandbox where a serpent kinda like bettleguise absorbs its power. well he absorbed it and took tons of powers and became unvanquishable. then goes mad cause phoebe does not wanna re-marry or stay married to him. ends up evil/insane and by cringe writting ends up creating an alternate reality where he is weak and gets vanquished again.
season 6: the oldest sister, piper gets a kid. its the MOST powerful magical beeing that ever will exists. he even brings back from the spiritual realm to her great grandmother (witch raised two of the three idiots) from the WOMB not even born and already reviving people... also piper's 2 son comes to "save" wyatt (first born) since in the future is the source of all evil. and by cringe writting, is the director of rip off hogwarts, magical school witch is an elder, aka something like an archangel if you will, or a demigod good angel.
season 7: charm ones joins the avatar's, creatures with infinite powers drained from a shared power pool, transforms the world into an utopia. with the kick, any one that breaks the order is whiped out of existance. so you if sneeze on a cinema, you are deleted from the universe. period. they undo this since they are always crewing up non stop on everything they do, assisted by a demon, shanchou, witch is worse than the source of all evil. by cringe writting they vanquish him, and they fake their deaths to live regular old lives.
season 8: the worst. its unwatchable. the charm ones, paladin's of good protecting innocents, so corrupted by selfishness, they are ready to sit down and watch the world burn in the apocalypse just to be able to shop around and get nice day spa's, without having issues of demon's bugging their day... and 2 idiot witches that go from good to evil and they are vanquished. the end.
if you liked that, then be my guest and watch the 8 full seasons. if not just skip it.
