Todd and Farah are searching for Dirk while still being on the run. Bart's searches for Ken in Montana, where unusual events are taking place.

While investigating a cold case, Dirk and team are joined by Bart, whose alleged assault spins the case in a new direction.

The identity of The Boy grows clearer but the villains converge to stop Dirk's team.

Todd looks for Amanda in Wendimore while Dirk wallows in self pity. Amanda tries to avoid the impending bloodshed that she has foreseen between the Wendimore clans and Suzie Boreton arrives to take over for The Mage.

Dirk must take charge to rescue the feuding Brotzman siblings; Panto offers Bart a better life; Farah and the police must contend with the disappearance of Dirk and Todd.

Wendimoor is in case. The Mage casts his final solution putting both worlds in jeopardy. Todd and Amanda must put aside their differences and work together.

The prophecy is fulfilled and Dirk restores order once he returns to Blackwing. Todd and Amanda battle Suzie Boreton.
