Summary: After Oceanic Air Flight 815 tears apart in mid-air and crashes on a Pacific island on September 22nd 2004, its survivors are forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. The last few moments of the season made me turn a 9 into a 10. After beating around the bush for the entirety of the second season, this one finally sheds some light on the one unavoidable issue which was left largely unexplained for so long. The others. After beating around the bush for the entirety of the second season, this one finally sheds some light on the one unavoidable issue which was left largely unexplained for so long. The others. For that alone I should score this one higher than the last one. One new character introduced in this season was woven into the main plot pretty decently, same as Desmond was who first appeared in S 2. The story deviated somewhat from the main characters introduced in the first act, and that was a mistake IMO. But I think the writers felt a genuine need to broaden the story. In all fairness this is no longer strictly a story about those few characters from the start anymore, but a saga where characters come and go when they've completed their purpose. Only Locke seems to know what he wants from his life.… Expand
