The show had me at the pilot. It directly hit my "awesome" spot.
The topic and execution of that series is totally to my taste and I feverishly gulped every episode from season 1. But I was left wanting more.
Season 2 was quite a disappointment in relation to season 1 and the writingThe show had me at the pilot. It directly hit my "awesome" spot.
The topic and execution of that series is totally to my taste and I feverishly gulped every episode from season 1. But I was left wanting more.
Season 2 was quite a disappointment in relation to season 1 and the writing strayed of it's path. Became psychadelic **** instead of focusing on the main point of the series.
Season 3 is again the total contrary, luckily. Rami Malek + Cristian Slater became producers and steered it back to the direction of season one and goddamn is this season awesome !!

One of the most underrated series of these years. And I cannot understand why season 2 is better rated than the others. Some people just wanna see the world burn, eh?

Season 1: 10/10

A rare pilot that has almost no flaws, the pilot of Mr. Robot is not only the best pilot of 2015 but also in recent memory.

A really interesting show, with a very strong performance by Rami Malek. As a techie I really relate to the story, it really feels like an instant classic and it the production quality, GOSH! It will be very interesting to see where the show goes.

One of the best series of 2015 with the impeccable " Sense 8" . This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The story, on paper, seems generic, but the shows leaves you feeling floored as the directing and writing is amazing. The performances are AMAZING Rami Malek and Christian Slater are one of the best duos on TV today. Although the story sorta fell off after the big reveal that Mr. Robot was his father and a fellow FScoiciety member was his sister. I liked the story better in the first 6 episodes, thats all.… Expand

Over-hyped, Instagram-filter-ish, self-important vacuousness populated by cardboard-cutout, two-dimensional characters performed by lackluster actors. Rami Malek, the lead, is actually alright in his performance, though the "autistic and/or socially inept genius" cliché was already an exhausted resource by the time Mr. Robot was first released: Sherlock, Elementary, Monk, the Mentalist, etc... Not to mention that the whole premise behind Mr Robot (both the split personality and the project to bring down financial institutions) are literally lifted from Fight Club. Don't waste your time with this show.… Expand
