Summary: Widely considered one of the funniest and most influential sketch comedy series in TV history, Mr. Show ran sporadically on HBO's late night schedule for four seasons (and 30 or so episodes) from 1995-1998. In addition to the titular hosts and series creators, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross (who had met while working on Fox's The Ben StillerWidely considered one of the funniest and most influential sketch comedy series in TV history, Mr. Show ran sporadically on HBO's late night schedule for four seasons (and 30 or so episodes) from 1995-1998. In addition to the titular hosts and series creators, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross (who had met while working on Fox's The Ben Stiller Show), on-screen regulars included Tom Kenny (later the voice of SpongeBob), John Ennis, Jill Talley, Brian Posehn, and Jay Johnston, with Paul F. Tompkins, Jack Black, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Scott Aukerman, Karen Kilgariff, Dino Stamatopoulos, and Scott Adsit also serving as writers and/or performers.
