This season is a little more interesting, but not the best out there. This show is not top notch TV like on cable, but it's good for network TV. That's all it has to be

Gives older viewers the kind of character and atmosphere they want, but that doesn't mean the show's objectively good. The entire show revolves around the concept of creating a mixture of quasi-down-to-earth military seriousness, moderate light-heartedness and nonchalance disguised as maturity that appeals to the demography, and in the meanwhile the plot is flat, predictable and highly contrived, with an obligatory minor plot twist at the end of each episode. It does try to lend itself an air 'authenticity' by not depending on action scenes, but does so quite poorly. That this show has such a strong viewership is just depressing.… Expand
