It is so good, so unbelievable, I can't believe anything was that good on TV last year. And it's going to be even better this year, as it continues doing these shows about nothing. [16 Sep 1993]
This is just the kind of amusingly off-center comedy now missing from NBC's lineup, one of those rare, delightful meshings of concept, cast and execution, with producer Tom Cherones providing inspired direction. Nothing is forced. [31 May 1990, p.F9]

There isn't much I can add to how brilliant Seinfeld is. It is a true gem of a sit-com and has very quickly become one of my favourite shows of all time. It looks lovely, the photography is always skillful and the locations and sets are striking and effective. The music is pretty infectious, granted it is not the best asset of the show but it is good. The best asset of the show is easily the writing. Very rarely has there been a sitcom or a show even where the writing is consistently witty and hilarious, even in the weaker episodes it makes its mark. The story lines and episode ideas are outstanding, maybe it doesn't always cover new ground but the situations are always superbly realised and priceless. In fact there are several episodes of Seinfeld I would deem masterpieces of comedy. The characters do have flaws certainly, but they are also likable. And the acting is brilliant, with the interplay shining in every single episode. Overall, superb comedy show and deserves to be up there with the best. 10/10 Bethany Cox

When it was first on, I could see how good and admirable an effort they were making in blending the onstage and private lives of a comic, but basically I didn't care that much about it. But it's gotten better and better. By this year it's the one network comedy show that consistently impresses me and that I keep watching just for enjoyment. [19 Mar 1992]

One weak link is fellow stand-up comic Michael Richards as Seinfeld's wacky neighbor. He isn't wacky or neighborly enough; it just doesn't work. But he's in the minority where "Seinfeld" is concerned. You may not convulsively guffaw, but you're bound to convincingly smile. Here's one that worked out just right.
There are some who might be jarred by the format, seamless as it is. And still others might be compelled to argue that with this format one gets neither a sitcom nor a comedy show, but insufficient portions of each...But there is an intriguing honesty to this method, and, in its fashion, it shows how life's tiny travail can work its way into comedy club laughs. Lacking much in the way of attitude, the show seems obsolete and irrelevant. What it boils down to is that Seinfeld, likable as he may be, is a mayonnaise clown in a world that requires a little horseradish. [31 May 1990, p.3D]
Simply put, one of the greatest - if not THE greatest - shows of all time, and certainly in my top 2.

A fantastic show! So funny. Out of it’s 8 seasons only a couple episodes are weak. In regard to sitcoms, that’s astonishing.

Seinfeld is a piece of Comedy and TV show History, I have almost completely watched all seasons of this fantastic show.
Obviously, I can't rate every single episode but I'm just going to be very vague.
WATCH THIS SHOW, PLEASE. It's that good, the only bad thing about Seinfeld is, of course, Seinfeld, everyone else is amazing, George, Kramer, and the beautiful Elaine. It's all just a joy to watch from time to time when you can't do anything at all. Hence a 9/10 is in order, if you removed Seinfeld and the laugh track this would be a straight 10/10. Of course, it's an older show so I'm somewhat softer towards this show's shortcomings.
