    Good show! The trailer made it seem infinitely boring! So I was going in with a low bar - it was interesting watching a differential method of psychology due to being pushed over the edge on the impacts of death and how you reflect on how you live your own life.

    Note this is less drama and more of a comedy to relax and enjoy! It seems to straddle the line between both, actually quite masterfully.

    Good comedy with jokes that are not in your face. Great by today's standards were comedy needs to be forced down the throat of the viewer and told what funny is. Good amount of serious stuff in here to in the form of people dealing with their mental health struggles. Great topic to focus on currently especially with what is going on in the world.     Not sure what the critics who lowballed this show are thinking. I thought Shrinking was excellent. How it handles grief so perfectly, seeing it from so many different angles. The show had me laughing and crying. I found it to be intelligently written and the cast is phenomenal. I'm really looking forward to season 2 (and hopefully 3).

    It's hard to like the main character in Shrinking's first episodes, but it soon grows to fill the Ted Lasso-shaped hole in Apple TV+'s lineup.

    You may love “Ted Lasso” or you may hate it, but you can’t argue that it isn’t sure of itself. Less so with “Shrinking,” though it has a kind of comfortable, lived-in pace and execution that makes it easy to watch.

    With no sense of exaggeration intended, this show consistently hits it out of park, offering up characters who admit their flaws, embrace their foibles, and ultimately improve as a result. This might all sound a little bit safe for some, but have faith, because very soon Shrinking will be picking up Emmy awards – remember where you heard it first.
