Review this tv show
Dec 10, 2017This show is not "Breaking Bad," though season two shows its admiration by picking up actors. Sometimes it seems they are throwing everything in the pot, including the kitchen sink. Occasionally, this produces a good stew. If you watch the whole season, as I did (with reservations), I think you will find it a positive experience. Stew seasoned best if you watch season 1 first.
The show itself teeters between the darkness of this mafioso underworld and the sheer absurdity of it all without fully leaning into either. The result is a tepid con game. It’s fine, but it’s not something you’d anxiously return to each week--which might be why Hulu is dropping all the episodes at once.
