SEASON 1
Great TV Show which show us, sort of, the life of the old motorcycle clubs. Great story, great characters and amazing actors. I loved the soundtrack as well and it couldn't end any better. It's on the top of my favourite TV Shows alongside Breaking Bad.

SEASON 1
Gritty and occasionally violent, Sons was created by Kurt Sutter, an executive producer on "The Shield." As "The Shield" prepares to bow out, Sons should capably fill the smart, testosterone-fueled void.
The show, which begins on Wednesday, is all tattoos and creased leather vests and shock-value chatter, and it isn't half-bad.
It will take awhile to figure out whether Sons of Anarchy was worth the investment of our time.
Well-made, but heavy-handed and hardly inviting.
Sons wants us to care about their hopes and struggles, but gives no clue as to why we might do so.

i have recently watched seasons 1-6 (waiting on 7) and i was hooked from the start.i like the characters the bikes and the ups and downs of charming.
i don't remember my brain going off on to other things when watching and thats a good sign for me :)
these tv series put movies to shame i love them.

SEASON 1
This show has a lot of promise but it disappoints. This is supposed to be about a ruthless biker gang yet no-one in the gang looks intimidating if you added some actors who are like 6'4" and muscly but don't say anything it would improve it a lot. The character development though is brilliant but not quite good enough to warrant it a higher score.

I had high hopes for this show. Sadly, the first season of SOA has been a huge disappointment. The characters don't have much depth, the plots twists are at times laughable (no, I really did laugh out loud on several occasions) and, in season 1, you could see some plot developments coming from a mile away. I don't really care about any of the characters after watching all 13 episodes and I got to the point that I found that the way Jax walks annoys me. I'll try season 2 in the hopes that it gets better.
This is not a good example of the "New Golden Age of Cable."

The cast is great but the plot lines are terrible. Each episode sees characters doing stupid unrealistic things that make no sense at all. They get in to a new mess at every turn and you just find yourself shouting at the screen: "Why would you do that!?!?!" They are meant to be a hard core biker gang, yet they keep letting enemies live when they have them at gun point only to get shot in the back by the same enemies in the next scene. No one seems to learn! It's enraging and aimed at brainless soap opera fans who just have to have something to watch regardless of if it makes any sense!
I’m giving it 3 stars just because I think the cast is great. Nothing else about this program is.

After hearing an onslaught of how "great" this show was, I decided to give it a chance. So I watched the first 2 seasons... I can't say I really want to continue with it. It's too cliche, unrealistic, and boring. Apparently the writers of this show have never heard of a "line-up", often times in the show they smash up entire stores, steal cars etc, meanwhile plenty of people are watching. Them having a one horse town police department in their pocket,isn't going to stop the justice system. Someone files an internal affairs complaint with that department I guarantee the feds would be swarming. The plot has no real direction, this gang blows up this gangs crap, and then they retaliate. There's no real rhyme or reason for the show just a bunch of wannabe thugs riding motorcycles. Ehh but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
