It's King done right.
Serviceably scarifying. [26 May 2006, p.100]
The real surprise is that, for all the times King has taken us down this creepy path, he can still evoke chills and thrills over and over again.
As often happens in this genre, the more you learn about the lurking evil... the less scary it gets.
Sadly truncated.
[King] expends way too much energy and dialogue on a shallow, sentimental exploration of faith.
